Arc: Myth or Reality
« on: May 30, 2010, 01:35:18 AM »

Somewhere on these boards is a thread or series of posts where apparently crazy GOPers dug around, found his name via his DailyKos thing, and then called for blood.

...anyone know where that is?

arc come back ;_;

He's been back since that happened.

I don't know where he's gone to now, but given that his bouts of posting last shorter amounts of time every time he comes back, I don't suspect we'll see him for a while. I think posting here is probably work for him.

There never was any Arc! It was all a sham! You are all, collectively, Arc! The power was inside you all along!

But, the boards went down, and the community was saved. We (brentai) can fend for ourselves now, and that's the lesson Arc left for us to learn.

It's like he's falling backwards in time. If he ever reaches the present... God save us all.

Quote
Then, whispered SoraCross, those first men formed the forum around porn threads which the Great Admins shewed them; threads brought in dim eras from dark servers. That forum would never die till the stars came right again, and the secret moderators would take great Arc from His tomb to revive His subjects and resume His rule of earth. The time would be easy to know, for then noobs would have become as the Great Old Admins; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and revelling in joy. Then the liberated Old Admins would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom. Meanwhile the forum, by appropriate rites, must keep alive the memory of those ancient ways and shadow forth the prophecy of their return.

Time counts and keeps countin', and we knows now finding the trick of what's been and lost ain't no easy ride. But that's our track, we gotta' travel it. And there ain't nobody knows where it's gonna' lead. Still an' all, every night we does the tell, so that we 'member who we was and where we came from; but most of all we 'members the man who finded us, him that came the salvage. And we lights the city, not just for him, but for all of them that are still out there. 'Cause we knows there'll come a night, when they sees the distant light, and they'll be comin' home.

Arc did what he did so that our children could grow up in a world where they wouldn't be hunted by nutjobs in helicopters. He's a hero, and deserves to rest in peace.
