That I somehow miss you guys to the point where I was compelled to take this picture on the Yamanote line today despite the LOUD bl-l-l-ling noise the camera on my phone is required to make (no way to turn it off, in case of creepy perverts):

Yeah, I'm sort of hoping that my person got theirs and just hasn't said anything, because I definitely paid for two day shipping...  :mystery:

Best demo I've seen in a while, possibly ever. I'm stuck at the moment, and supposed to be working anyhow, so I haven't finished it. At about halfway through Act 2, though, and I can't wait to see this on PS3 or something. Wii controls would be ideal, but I can't imagine sacrificing the slick graphics.

Ok, I figured out the silver shovel. You don't actually get 10% more bells--you have a 10% chance at GETTING more bells. I read it wrong.

But basically, what happens is that every so often (10% of the time, I guess!) you will hear a big "ching!" noise when clunking a rock, and whatever amount you were on will double; i.e. if it's your first coin, it'll be 200 instead of 100, but if it's the first sack, it'll be 2,000 instead of 1,000. Doubling the 2,000 sack rocks pretty hard, but obviously doubling the 4,000 would be...quite happy.

Wow, interesting. Except I actually got the silver shovel yesterday and I'm not actually getting more bells at all? Is there a trick to it?

It's for work. I was there last year and did ok. It's more of a broad report on the event itself, as opposed to nitty-gritty details of the game.

So, out of guilt, I have ordered a 360 version of this game so I can play it before heading off to the Fan Festival. I actually have it for PC, but I couldn't take the controls. Does anyone have some noobie characters who would want to run around together? I'm gonna make a monk. Game's supposed to get here on Friday, but I don't think I"ll get to play really until the 1st...which, really only gives me like four days to try to get a feel for it. I guess I should've thought of this a while ago. Maybe too little too late.

Does anyone know the trick to planting bell trees? I have the golden shovel and tried it with 30,000 a couple days ago. Watered it and everything, but it disappeared after a couple days...

Hrm. That's weird. My gate is definitely open. I dunno why the connection would be weird. It was working fine last time  :sadpanda:

Pretty sure the (regular) axe and the slingshot aren't available until Nook 'n Go.

What emotes are available for you in the theater? Do we have to go to other people's cities? (Are we even allowed to do that?) I thought they would change by the month, but I'm in Dec and I still just have laughter, happiness, love, and glee.

I guess it's stupid to complain about that  but I know there are more out there.

I was going to go as Luke for Halloween, but I'm not sure if I'm actually going anywhere anymore, so...haha. And obviously it'd be better if I had a tall guy in a top hat to go with.

I'm all for a movie. I liked the characters and the animation better than the game, anyhow. Live action would be great, too, as long as they actually get an adorable little boy to play Luke and not a petite teenage girl. (Yeah, I know that's a tad hypocritical...)
