Finished and quite enjoyed infinite, was surprised when a Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin) sound alike gave me a revolver
I was half expecting the ending area to leave off on a cliffhanger where Booker and Elizabeth find a lighthouse to Narnia
When a cute international student of another college in town from China gives you her number and proceeds to go out with you with one of her friends things look pretty good. When she agrees to see you again and appear to jump with joy when you kiss her hand things look pretty promising.
then you try to text her a few days latter and get no response, you wonder if your phone's broken after sending another text with no response two days later until her friend sends a long message saying that your bothering her, she's changing contact numbers because of you, and "BTW I think she likes girls".

I'm not against a new pulpy adventure film called "The Mummy".
But it feels like the last movie came out yesterday...which was 4 years ago.
actually I just remembered that Batman Begins was green-lit around 5 years after Batman & Robin, so yeah reboot away Hollywood when my memory fades I'll be like "whoa that theater is showing The Silence of The Lambs how retro" and then I'll watch it and go "I don't remember that scene where lector's mouth turns to CGI and eats CGI corpses".

A reboot of the remake of The Mummy?
I guess an almost familiar brand is better than no brand. (awaits gritty reboot of Lost in Space).
I know it's a stretch to call the 2000 film a remake but still.

But these chuckle heads felt it was so bad it deserved commentary.

EDIT:
O Shit! I'm level 3! Maybe I want to multiclass? Do you guys think I should multiclass?
The first two books where written by Drew Karpyshyn who was the lead writer of KOTOR and Mass Effect 1 and a co-writer on Mass Effect 2, the third book was not written by him but rather by an outsider and you can tell because of the much criticized inconsistencies (Drew left Bioware sometime a few months ago).
The book isn't exceptional or anything but it's more compelling than reading codex entries for exposition. Edit: heh I wouldn't say it was "a volley of Satanic aggression toward the reader" but I did only read it in preparation for the third game after losing interest the first time I tried to read it. in short it's a medicore book that serves it's purpose for extra world building I'm not rushing out to read more.
Anyone get attacked by reapers while planet scanning yet?

I guess I didn't get the memo.

« on: March 07, 2012, 01:19:46 PM »Man, if you like side missions, I hope you like switching discs like it's 1997.
is it the same for the retail PC version? or is there three discs with one containing an Origin installer?
swapping discs did make me notice that the regular edition of the game has an alternative cover on the flipside.
I found subquest with Kaylee Sanders from the first mass effect book, I knew some good would come out of reading that thing.

Hasbro could take one figure and change the name and sell it in Spencer Gifts/Hot topic under a different brand, and get mo money.
how come when some guy shows his collection of MLP figures to others he joins a clique but whenever I show off my Dora the Explora collection people look at me funny and the cops suddenly have a search warrant?

I eagerly await his personal quest where Shepard must decide if he/she should let the dogs out

"Binary Domain" sounds like a coding help website from 1995, or an independent computer repair shop circa 1988.
as for the game I've gone from disinterest to curiosity the more I see of it,
Black ops 2? couldn't they think of some other covert military names like COD: NSA, COD: Homeland security, or COD: IRS, but assuming it's still the cold war I guess we can look forward to a COD: Generations where every character from all 53 game travels in time to stop some terrorists from starting the Big Bang 2 eventually.
