Blair is fine, too.

Okay never mind, I've decided. I'll use the wire on myself and vote to test Palmer.

One way or the other, this game ends tonight.

I can't decide between Fuchs and Blair.

If you're talking about the same test I'm thinking of, not at all, since it's likely to result in an innocent's death.

I'm MacReady to try one last appeal to logic.

Why didn't Copper kill Norris as soon as he was tested? His stated reason, that the flamethrowers could take care of Norris tonight while he looked for another target for his dynamite, doesn't make any sense.

As soon as the results from the vote-test come in, night will begin and he won't be able to throw it any more. The flamethrowers can't coordinate with each other, so if we've got two living positively-identified Things, there's a 50% chance they'll both target the same one.

This, combined with his apparent eagerness to kill someone who hasn't been tested yet, makes me think Copper is lying about having dynamite to throw, and is actually a Thing.

MacReady. I don't necessarily buy Windows testing Norris as a sacrifice.

Why didn't Norris kill Windows in retaliation for testing him, then?

And since I'm no less concerned about his silence than I was yesterday, I'll go ahead and switch my vote to Windows. The only reason I picked Childs over him earlier was to give him the opportunity to self-test.

I'm just advocating caution here. We don't want to kill anyone unless we're sure they're a Thing. That sureness doesn't necessarily have to come through testing, but at this point it's our best tool. If we can come to a consensus that someone is obviously evil, then I'm all for you throwing dynamite at them.

Right now there are two people who had the wire and didn't test themselves with it. I think we should focus our testing on that fact at the moment.

Hey now, there's no need to go killing people who haven't been tested yet. You remember what happened with Garry, right?

Oh, we actually have to have a majority to use a vote-test? I thought we would automatically test the person with the most votes at the end of the time limit.

Also if I had been thinking I totally would have used my hammertime to give Childs more time to do his test.

But since he tried to use it on me instead of himself, I'm obviously going to want to test Childs today.

It's getting close to the end of the day and Childs still hasn't used his test. Should we be worried?

Why would they choose to convert me over Norris, who got the ball rolling on Bennings in the first place?

I'm more concerned about Windows's quietness. Fuchs has at least said something relevant to the game already.

You know, I was generally in agreement about self-testing not being the best move when you've got the wire, but I think you're starting to protest too much. Maybe I was wrong.

I guess we'll find out. Bennings

Wow, that bandwagon sure formed quickly. Have three or four of the Things just revealed themselves?

Oh, I definitely think Bennings needs to use his test, and sooner would be better than later. But just in case he chooses someone else, we're 2/7 of the way to testing Clark too.

I agree. If Clark is so eager to be tested, It doesn't necessarily need to be Bennings that does it.

My point is that you don't seem to be thinking through all the consequences of your plan.

Or is that part of your strategy? Making yourself look like a fool so they won't want to turn you.

And then have a flamethrower kill you on the first night? How noble of you to sacrifice yourself for the people who won't even be on your team any more once you're turned.
