Kazz here

Thing victory seemed inevitable for a while after I joined

and then things started going wrong (no pun intended)

and Cait self-tested which I thought was completely fucking insane

and we went after Blair even though I swore it was Fuchs

so despite every effort on the part of the Things to lose the game, we still won

hooray

I think MacReady is actually still a pretty good choice.

Though I guess it looks like we have a chance now.

How do you figure?

We killed one Thing, great.  We also lost someone to a turn AND burned a dynamite-holder to death.

This game is really hard: if we kill one Thing every day, we lose.  They'll always gain one per night, and that person comes out of our numbers.  Killing our own guys doesn't help much.

Testing people who have already been tested isn't a bad idea, but we can't get into the habit of doing one thing or the other in a predictable way, or we let the Things set the game's pace.  We have to watch people and touch them and feel their gooey insides.

Not only do I not understand Blair's logic, but I also don't know how a man of his age, in his condition, could possibly survive this harsh climate without having some kind of otherworldly constitution

I suppose if I choose not to test my self, ya'll are gonna gang up on me like ghosts on a Pac-man, huh?

probably.  if you hit a Thing you'll be better off.

If he's innocent, he's very unlucky for failing to find a Thing.

you have to have a pretty damn good reason to refuse to self-test, and Bennings did not have one.  If the Things are smart they'll keep suspicion on Bennings and maybe turn him or maybe not AND JUST MAKE US ALL GO FUCKIN CRAZY

Clearing himself might be his safest bet, I probably would if I were in possession, and not possessed.

In the mean time, we might benifit from verifying that Clark is human, or a dirty monster trying to hide the his scummy nature by asking to be tested.

On the off chance that you might listen to me?  Very risky ploy.  I'll try it next Halloween :D

Well here's my list of people Bennings should test, in no particular order:

* Me

* Himself

* Anybody
