I'd have switched my kill to Carac if I'd have gotten that PM for the record

also I'd have used cautious mode on Geo had I known the Kingdom could possibly win today

all in all I lost the game for the innos because I wasn't paying enough attention, and I'm sort of annoyed about that

Salutations, Mormont. As you have stated, you are an Assassin. You have also stated that you have expressed suspicion in me. I assure you, targeting me will be a waste of a night action in several different respects. Leaving me alive would be mutually beneficial.

So, I'm sort of getting the feeling you're the Knight?

    Anyway, I'm killing Lyonel tonight.

No. It would be a waste because I am the Scoundrel, and the only remaining Seer. Moreover, one that is very interested in helping you since you are all far in the lead. A tip; Lyonel is the Thief. His night action could have been to free himself. It's extremely unlikely he was turned and released without trying to free himself.

I didn't get this PM until just now

*shrug*

Sorry for losing the game for the innos, I guess in the end I didn't pay enough attention to the rules, I didn't think the game could end in kingdom victory today

Sorry for outing myself in an anonymous game, I didn't know you gave a shit Kazz, I won't do it in the future

My plan was the kill Lyonel and then lynch Carac today, see, I knew it was one of you two but honestly didn't want to listen to you defend yourself Geo :P

I knew Althalos was the priest the whole time, pretty much, whoever is saying I thought it was someone else is wrong

Ah, OK. My mistake then.

With only one guard left and the priest still alive, a mass role claim would end this game.

*shrug*

I'm not going to call for one, though.

I can't convert until tonight

I don't see this in the rules. As I read them, you may convert at any time. In any case, you'll forgive us casting a suspicious eye at you. In any case, you seemed to be pretty sure you'd escape before this day dawned.

I am 80% certain Merek or Carac is the last guardian. Althalos, Sadon and Tybalt strike me as secondary.

Priest, contact me today so I don't end up lynching or night killing you on accident.  :nyoro~n:

I think he's Kingdom either way, since I assume Geo/Lyonel would have converted, seeing as how we lost our Seer and I missed my kill. But we don't care about converts, since we just need the two guards and the queen dead to win. If we eliminate all other suspicious options, then our lynch can turn to Lyonel.

And yeah, put the Mad King on block in your mind.

Won't be around for a while. Will check the thread when I can.

Althalos - ?
Borin - Confirmed Innocent, Leader
Brom - Confirmed Vengeful Warrior - Third Party
Carac - ?
Fendrel - ?
Lyonel - Unlikely to be starting Kingdom as he arrested first night
Merek - ?
Mormont - Assassin
Sadon - ?
Terrowin - ?
Tybalt - ?

We can narrow down the search for the two guards and the queen to these seven:

Althalos
Carac
Fendrel
Merek
Sadon
Terrowin
Tybalt

One of them is the Knight, the Priest, and the Thief. It's also possible Lyonel is one of those roles. We could also be looking at a Scoundrel, a Blood Magus, and a Turncoat.

But to be clear, of these eight players, it is 100% that six of them are The Knight, The Priest, the Thief, Two Guards, and The Queen.

Althalos
Carac
Fendrel
Merek
Sadon
Terrowin
Tybalt
Lyonel

Also, the rules say 2 or 3 third party roles will be included, so it's also 100% that at least one of those guys is either the Scoundrel, the Blood Magus, or the Turncoat. Possibly two of them, though that would give every single player a role except Forthwind, so I'm thinking it's more likely that one of them is the other commoner.

Well, not the worst reveal ever.

In that case, my vote turns to Fendrel.

The Priest can protect me from arrest and murder.

By the way, this is the important part of this plan, so please pay attention.

I'm leaving town or I wouldn't do this, but as I am currently in the lead for votes, I'm going to roleclaim.

To be honest, I thought about just PMing the King and asking him to arrest me so I could convert. It seemed the safer course to end up on the winning side.

But this way things will be more interesting, I suppose.

I'm the assassin.

I'm also Friday.

Fall in line, men. Let's turn me into a lightsaber innocent of justice. The Priest can protect me from arrest and murder. I'm pretty sure Lyonel is Geo, and I'm also pretty sure he's sworn allegiance to the King already. But I don't really care about him, because we don't need to kill him, just the guards.

I'm currently looking at Brom, Althelos, and Fendrel as my kill targets. We should lynch those bad boys as well.

p.s. I killed Forthwind for voting for Ulric directly after a Seer claim.

Mormont sighed. Truly his anger of the Mad King was to be expected. But what he did not expect was to be so empty.

"Brom", said Mormont. "The darkness is stronger with you in it. Go then and be in the darkness which you love so."

But Mormont was in his lost own darkness.

Mormont nodded.

"Yes, I too am experiencing the funny feeling of Althalos in thine bowels," said Mormont. "But I think the Mad King may be goading us to think Althalos is a guard. I am not sure."

And then Mormont sighed. "Brom also is the giving me a bowels. His posts consist of a check in and a bandwagon quoted lynch vote against Ulric. Perhaps Brom should be examined more closely, also."

Mormont then sighed and stared into the fire. The flames licked at his eyes like fire.

said Mormont.

Mormont examined his cur.  It was round and wrinkly, like his soul.  Yet he could not ignore its contours, the way it felt warm under the cold sad grip of his fingers.  Perhaps this was the way god intended us to live.

Mormont decided he could not really justify not voting for Carac, due to his suspicious silence.  He regretted this decision but still stood by it, as a Lord should do with a heavy heart.

Mormont had a pasta.  He enjoyed pasta even though twas a peasants dish.  The way it curled down his tongue reminded him of his tortured dark past.  The pain made him stronger.

He eyed a list of potential miscreants. This list was written for him by his wench, a loyal woman named Hilda.  He would not admit that he had feelings for her; in fact, if asked, he would make his cur eat her face.  But still he had these feelings.

On the list twas a name he had thought he had forgotten, but recalled now for the first time in a long, time.  Ulric was known to be a thorne in the side of his true king and kingdom for a very long time.  His curs had hunted him for a long time but now they knew he was here.  Though he might not be the same man now as he was once, Mormont knew the truth may lie behind the eyes of the deceiver, not necessarily the saint...
