Thanks man!

I just wanted something dumb and completely irrelevant to the title of the song. It's a thing I do with anything I put on youtube.

I can send you the song if you want man, it would be an incredibe honor for someone to have a song of mine in their portable music device!

Eric-Christian Alexander - The Duel

This is something I made today, and I'm desperate to get some feedback from my peers who will give me advice on how to write more powerfully.

So, if you have 2 minutes of your time that you can spare, would you take a listen to my little piece?

4
I would like to play against some of you, just so I can get a game in with someone besides Kayin. *Grumble* He always murders my facehole with his stalkers and collosi.

Some basic Setting Information for Other DM's

Initial Genre: Dark Fantasy
Magic Level: Low
World name: Ergar

In the small farming community of Jeth live the PC's. The people fear and distrust any magic user so much that it causes panic and mass hysteria amongst them. Even good Clerics are wary of using their abilities in public.

Otherwise, everyone in Jeth is incredibly friendly, if a bit superstitious.

Notable Locations in Jeth:

The Iesous - A Local Tavern/Inn specializing in the towns homemade onion beer. The place is owned by the Half-Orc Rha'Zkul.

Mithras' General Shop - Probably the busiest store in town, Mithras the Half-Elf has many miscellenious items that would be of interest to an Adventurer.

Lady Xaria's Smoke Shop - A low key place where people can come to smoke Hookahs and purchase all sorts of strange herbs to smoke.

16 Thrones - A very comfortable and refined brothel. The Madame of the Brothel is a Half-Orc known as L'ardousa and is well versed in the romantic arts. She has at any time 2d6 Human women, 1D6-1 Elven ladies and 1D4 Halflings. The place smells of lavender and fresh apples all the time.

Some Local Rumors:

Someone heard from a friend of an aunt's brother that to the north is an Island sitting in the middle of a lake that once used to be the hide out of the notorious Goblin Bandit King Grubjub. No one knows what happened to the nefarious goblin, but many impaled corpses of Grubjub's victims abound on the island.

Somewhere in the forest to the south-west is a Tree. This tree doesn't seem very special. But if a woman bleeds on it's roots, the Tree will speak. The tree is willing to give the location of a treasure in exchange for 2 pints of female blood poured on it's roots.

If someone were to ask Lady Xaria about her delicious cakes, she would show them wondrous things in the backroom of her shop.

Hey Makaris, how did you create your character? Did you use some kind of neato programz?

So far we have 2 characters written up in this thread? How many total will I be needing to look at?

My vote is for Basic Fantasy, http://www.basicfantasy.org/main.html

It's like first edition D&D, but simplified even further.

And I also am willing to be DM first!

Everything feels like a comic book using the Savage Worlds system. Which is awesome!

It is also incredibly easy to make NPC's using savage worlds. The only problem I foresee with Savage worlds is the way Initiative is handled. Where are we going to get a virtual deck of cards to hand out to everyone?

So for simplicity (read: convenience), we should probably stick to D&D.

There aren't too many options out there for virtual tabletops. You've had success with Maptool, right Makaris?

THIS!!!!

Although I am not too great with D&D to begin with, I can try to learn more about it!

Only days that I can not do are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. otherwise, I am available pretty much any time!

You know what would be fun? If we could do like a World-Jumping game. That way it would give the GM's excuses to try and do extremely different things!

Okay so, I was talked into running a call of cthulhu game. SUNDAY, MAY 23, 10PM EST!

We would be using version 5. I'm sure you guys can find a copy SOMEWHERE!

Looking for some more players, so far I have 2. Anyone is welcome to come play.

You know what? I'm going to have to cancel this thing I proposed. The other players punked out on me at the last second, so there would be no other characters to interact with.

I'll still help you make a character Fatkaris, for if these damn internet peoples ever decide they want to play.
