I'd like to test Nauls.  Obviously, Windows will be bathed in the cleansing flames of cleansing tonight.  They're so fuckin' cleansing.

Bennings or Windows are definitely one of those things.  Maybe both of them, but definitely one of them.  I don't feel comfortable about flipping a coin right now though, as down to the wire as we are, so let's talk this one out.  Bennings has absolutely never voted in the entire game, while Windows has consistently argued for the self test and and tried to suss out people's motivations.  Windows has put himself out on the line in a way that if he clams up, it's more obvious that something has changed, and put him into a position that if he gets the self test it would look incredibly suspicious were he not to use it.  Bennings has never voted, something which absolutely screams of talking to stay in the game but never drawing too much attention to oneself.

I haven't been tested, but Nauls, Palmer, Copper, and Garry all have.  That only leaves myself, Bennings, and Windows as potentially being patient zero-two.  So let me rule myself out of that equation, and either way, we get one more guaranteed Thing.  If we manage to blow up three today (including Blair) and flamethrower one tonight, then we can finally sleep easy, but it's gonna require reviewing our already self tested to the best of our damn memories.  And if I'm wrong, then it's going to be impossible for us to blow up three today.

I throw my dynamite at Bennings.  If I'm wrong, well, fuck me with a chainsaw, but I'm an action hero and sometimes gut instinct is all we have.

Besides without Childs to glare meaningfully at in the dead of winter, what do I really have to lose?

I'm going to switch my vote to Garry in the interests of expediency and the lot of us not freezing to goddamn death while we try to decide.

I stand by my wanting to test Blair.  I wouldn't scream like a little girl and/or Nauls if we wanted to test Garry or Childs either, though.

I hate you, Doc.  Not being an alien monster doesn't mean I can't hate you.  Still, I don't hate you half as much as I hate Blair right now.  No man who eats that many oats can be human.

Fuchs, you're a damned insane fool, but I can respect that.

As for me, as much as I like Childs I just don't think at this point that I can sleep easy until I know he's on the level.  I might just sit up all night, staring at him, if I think there's even a possibility that he's one of those things.  As long as I have a blanket, anyway.  The cold puts me right to sleep.  Childs and Fuchs are both being as logical as possible about our situation and our odds, but well, Fuchs is the one who just pulled out a goddamn stick of dynamite, so by the process of elimination I want to make sure that one of those things isn't trying to be so much like us that he's above suspicion.  Not today though.  I'm willing to lose at least one night's sleep.  We can't self-test everyone every day, but at least for today, and given that we now have a stick of fucking dynamite on the table, I'm fine with testing Norris.

But I've got my eyes on you, Childs.

Jesus christ you're all a bunch of chatter monkeys.  Look, we can sit around discussing odds and ends all day long, or we can actually get something done today.  Palmer gets that.  But since he did use his test on someone else, I'd sleep easier tonight if we tested Palmer, just to be on the safe side.  If you all want to test me, I'm not going to raise too much of a fuss, but I guarantee that it will be wasting our time.
