Yeah, it's like having a direct feed to 4chan without having to bother visiting the site.  Way to go!

Hey, can any of you use any connections in the Washington/Lakewood area to help me land something good?
No, seariously. Help me out, or give me some tips, or links to useful infomation.

I'm looking for anything not fast-food, or hard-labor.

I recommend committing a crime. Then you'll basically be guaranteed to do hard time. It's like work.

If anyone knows some of the following:

  • Professional web designers or web developers
  • Anyone you think might be interested in branching out to an e-commerce site, company site or name on the web, even if they're not particularly computer literate

Could you give them my e-mail address: feedback@jonnydigital.com?

That's me, but if this is one of those "I got no money, but you get 50% of sales" than forget it.

I don't think JD is offering you a job, he's also just looking for one.

JD, do you do SEO?  Every client I get wants me to refer to them someone who does SEO, and I don't have the patience to fuck with Google 24/7.

Of course they probably would want you to be somewhere in, you know, this country, but I'll at least have a name to throw out next time I'm asked.

It's not my specialty. I can optimize a site for Google to some extent, but there's only so far you can squeeze extra ranking, and a lot of sites are doing that already. You can cheat Google, but there's a significant chance that'll backfire on you.

I guess my answer is "not really". I do know (X)HTML and CSS very well, as well as a good amount of PHP, SQL, server administration, and Wordpress tinkering.

But can you turn their shit into gold?  Can you correct the wording of the site?  Can you make people suddenly interested in their potentially irrelevant product?

wah wah my business isn't doing well but i know there's a huge market for people with 15" long toenails that want to pay three fifty to duel my robot raptor all within 50 miles of my office so it can't possibly be that i'm barking up the wrong tree
