So apparently at MSNBC the word "indefinitely" means "four-day weekend".

...so, uh.  Does anybody think this was anything other than a publicity stunt?

But whatever it is, they'll be doing it without Olbermann.

EDIT: Oh, guess the Comcast merger went through.  Well that explains it.

Olbermann out at Current TV, being replaced by Eliot Spitzer.

My first thought was "This is the last business day before April Fool's Day, isn't it."  But that's a New York Times link and it looks to be legit.

So yeah maybe Olbermann is just a shit to work with.  (But I still don't think it's a coincidence that he was ousted from MSNBC right after the Comcast buyout.)
