Analog games - news & whatever

Games Workshop, Privateer Press, homebrew, board games. Whatever doesn't fit elsewhere, just dump it here if you don't think it deserves it's own thread:

In GW news, Finecast is dead.

Cynical view as to why: probably not caving to opinion; cost saving measure in some way?

Good, in any case. The one finecast I had to buy was my shit chaos tech priest that I already forgot the name of. Dealing with that many tentacles with resin that has to be heated to correct bad bending was awful.

Probably. I expect the longterm plan was for all products to be made in the styrene plastic anyway.

Although the number of replacements they had to give out was probably a non-negligible cost element.
