Stephen Perry missing after not showing up to court to get a protective order against a woman

Compounded with the fact that three days later they discovered an abandoned house, an abandoned van, and an as yet unidentified severed arm, things don't look good.

Ffffffuck.  Poor bastard just barely survived cancer and was up to his eyeballs in medical debt -- hard to imagine somebody's life getting WORSE than that, but this fits the bill.

Hoping for the best, but...for fuck's sake, they found a severed arm by his abandoned van.  There's really not any good outcome here.

...not that it's especially pertinent, but...his IMDB profile doesn't list his Thundercats eps, but he wrote some quite-good episodes of Batman and Gargoyles. (EDIT: per Steve Bisette, IMDB is wrong and has his credits combined with a different Steve Perry's.  He doesn't have a complete list of Perry's credits either, but says Safari Joe, Queen of 8 Legs, and Doomgaze are among them.)

Looked through all 130 eps; he also wrote Feliner, Tight Squeeze, and Trapped.  There are also 4 eps on the DVD's with missing title cards (rant about how fucking awful the Thundercats DVD's are goes here); I'm almost certain Unholy Alliance is Leonard Starr, but Perry's name might be somewhere among the other three.  Not quite ready to break out the VHS collection yet, but I probably will at some point.  (Unless anyone knows anywhere I can find pre-DVD episode rips...)

Lots of theories and conjecture swirling, which I'm not really comfortable getting into.  Bissette is probably the best resource for updates.

I've gotten his Silverhawks credits together:

Darkbird
Fantascreen
Limbo Gold Rush
The Bounty Hunter Returns

and I'm trying to see if I can get IMDb and the rest of the Internet to fix its shit.  It will be an uphill battle, especially when I try to explain to the IMDb editors, "Look, this episode that has a copyright date of 1988 most likely did not actually air in 1986."

As expected, Perry's roommate has been charged.

Bissette tells the story the way he thinks it happened, complete with a bitterly ironic ending worthy of EC.

All simply horrifying.  But at least it appears justice will be served.
