Costume Quest Trailer - Gamescom '10

So far, it's pretty great. Reminds me of Penny Arcade Adventures, except more family-friendly. The battle and exploration parts are similar, but the costumes bring a lot of variety. The Statue of Liberty costume lets you heal party members with the power of AMERICA.

There's also a costume that turns you into a giant french fry monster.

Overall, it's a great little game, but it is really short. It feels more like the first part of an episodic thing. That's about the only negative I can come up with for it, though.

So unless you really want a game for Halloween, or really want to support Double Fine, I'd wait until it goes on sale.

I played it.  I beat it.  Fun was had, no regrets.

It is a bit short, though.  That is probably for the best, as there's not too much going on.

The Statue of Liberty's escape animation is the best thing.

Also, the cat costume is actually a Laser Panther. :D
