the idea here was that caith was introducing a new idea and I think it's that we're all being fooled by the fool or seer

I never would have guessed.

Idea: let's lynch falselogic and find out if Kayma's a power role!

Well, since the 'oracle' is telling us to get Nicka instead, I'm going to stay here.

This was my favorite area of the game, the post I made where I was having the most fun. I got some good town points around here, and me and Kayma painting Kayma as an oracle was a great town play regardless of who fell or didn't fall for it. I was thoroughly enjoying my not flipping out at that point.

Good game all. Sorry Nex! You'll no doubt get me next time. In the back.

I kind of think that this game proved that if you call someone something else it changes how they act.

Look up the Stanford Prison Experiment. We proved that humans act like the role they're told over what they are a long time ago.

you fail to see the issue. What i meant is that say you have two functions,

(1)

 wolf(x,y,z) with said definition

and

(2)

human(u,v,w) with said other definition

if you swap human with wolf is one thing. but if you swap definitions too, the renaming becomes pointless, all you traded was the order in which the functions appear.

What this means is, you cant say a werewolf is really a human, if it goes around transforming and killing people at night. That's like calling a dragon
"a duck giant that breathes fire".

Makes no sense. I disliked it.

a suggestion: a way this would work is if you had a roleplay mechanism. Wolfs that are humans are afraid of wolves during the day and will try to lynch themselves during the day, but they also transform during the night, and kill one of the villagers that are out at night thinking they are wolves and trying to kill a villager.

Since the wolfs are not aware of being wolves, they would just go out and kill the first human(pretending to be a wolf) that they encounter. Being completely unconscious of this. That could be represented by the first human to vote on someone to kill that night (the first fake wolf to come out to kill someone gets killed)

Since the dead cant speak, the game would evolve into something nice.

During the day, the villagers, thinking themselves wolves, would try protecting the wolves. And the oracle would be living a nightmare.

The mechanism would have to be worked on, but at least this would make sense.
