On a whim while waiting for a friend at another friend's house, I watched yet *another* friend play through the Bastion demo. It looked fun, and it was interesting in how the narration thing was presented, suggesting it wasn't just another gimmick. I was very interested. It hooked me before I even played it myself somehow.
The next day, I was staring at the Steam store, trying to convince myself not to buy it. It looked REALLY good and I still had half of The Witcher to play through and then Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Dead Sp... oh, I just bought it. Damn.
It's okay though. It may have been the best 15 dollars I have spent in a long time, and probably the best game I've played in the last 2 years and is in my personal top 3 games easy. It was solid, it was colorful, it was... well. Probably the most poignant game I've experienced since Metal Gear Solid 3. And it was a much better *game* too. Manly tears were shed.
If you haven't played it yet, you should. No, actually you *must.*
