Atari 2600: Combat. Yep, the great granddaddy.
Intellivision: I wanna say the first I played was Utopia, but it was probably actually Space Hawk.
NES: Super Mario Bros. Whee.
Early PC: I played a couple crappy text based games I can't remember (Kingdom?), Inside Trader, and Hillsfar.
SNES: Super Mario World: Of course.
Genesis: Sonic 2. fuck year.
Sega CD: Sonic CD. Wow what a great game that was.
Sega 32X: DOOM. My uncle got me this because I was always bugging him to let me use his laptop to play Wolfenstein.
PS1: RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RAAACER!
Old PC: Diablo II. We got a new computer, I slapped D2 on it, and lost several months of my life.
N64: Mario 64.
Saturn: NiGHTS Into Dreams. I still resent not having my Saturn here to play this sometimes.
Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure. I bought my Dreamcast on 9/9/99 - see comment about resent and Saturn.
PS2:I don't remember, exactly - I'm willing to go on record and say Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, though. I don't think that's right, but I bought my PS2 used at a pawn shop, and rented my first game.
XBOX: Halo, dicking around through the first level at a EB demo kiosk.
Modern PC: I'm gonna say Half-Life 2. Again, not sure - there's been a lot.

I'm pretty sure I haven't yet really touched a PS3, a 360, or a Wii, much as I've wanted to.

Okay, this thread is boring.

I've been playing vid-a-o games since, like, ever, and I even had the SEGA channel and a 32X. For the most part, though, games were games and I didn't really care what I was playing. There was this game on the SEGA Channel, it was about magical ponies that could change colors in a fairy forest, and I would play it. I think there was an evil wizard.

Then I got Final Fantasy VII on the Playstation, and I discovered the magical and self-destroying world of binge gaming. I didn't have a memory card, so I would play the first six or so hours almost every day. The furthest I ever got was the Elevator battle. To make up for that, the first memory card I got was filled completely with nothing but Final Fantasy saves scattered throughout the game.

The first time a game made me say "Whoa" out loud was when I reached the city of the Ancients where Aeris died. The last time I said "Whoa" out load was in Metroid Prime when I entered the Phendrana Drifts.

I forgot that when I had a Genesis, or rather when my aunt had one, I mostly played Sonic 2, Rocket Knight Adventures, and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. Those were real games. Not like today.

I never played Sonic 1 or 3, not until I was like 16.

I wouldn't say banal shit like "Oh man I'm soooo drunk!" and "These game designers must've been on crack!"

No, but you do say "Thanks for watching" in a way that makes me think you're watching other people have sex.

Too bad her Chrono Cross LPs aren't as entertaining.  It's as if doing a long RPG loses its novelty really quickly!

Computer: First game ever was some Chess style Demons and Monsters game. You chose what you wanted for your army, among goblins, zombies, vampire bats, demons, ect and moved them Chess style across a grid. When encountering an enemy monster, you'd go into an real time battle using the arrow keys to move and clicking special abilities. I remember the vampire bat being able to raise up the enemy piece as a weaker version of itself. I forget the name.

Nintendo: Contra. Playing it with my brothers was one of the better memories I have of them when I was little.

Gameboy: The only game I had was a racing game where you upgraded your car via stuff you drove over in the track. Loved it.

Super Nintendo: Legend of Zelda. The first game I could continuously play at my own leisure, complete with a story and characters I liked, with a huge fantastical world that made my imagination run wild.

Computer Again: Mech Warrior. Fucking loved Madcat.

Playstation: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Beautiful music, graphics and gameplay that was addictive. Always liked it because my older brother would teach me how to cast spells.

Nintendo64: Starfox64. The game my two older brothers and I would actively compete in against each other, trying to wrack up the most points.

GameCube: Resident Evil series was reborn for me. I loved how the remade the first one and all the memories of it scaring the crap out of my from Playstation came rushing back.

Playstation2: Legacy of Kain series. Ensured my fanboyism of Simon Templeman

Wii: Wii sports was fantastic. It's the game I love the most still, and not just because it turned my dad into a gamer before he died.

Playstation3: I still turn it on and replay throu~~~ Wait, no. I use it for movies really.

Computer Again: World of Warcraft. The game that allowed me to spend time with my family and friends, as well as meet more interesting people and friends.
