This is like the reverse The Grinch. It's as if one tiny Who lived on a mountain above a whole city of Grinches.

The last time Dethecus appreciated anything, it was when Hraedon made everyone's Arcanite Reapers for mats.

Defen if nothing else we need reports on your situation, but for now..

If I was using the Auction House for this purpose, yes, it would fail horrendously. This is why I am not. I am giving an alternative without the middleman. If someone tries to buy 7 glyphs of the same kind off me face to face with the intention of reselling, it would be quite obvious and simple to thwart just by refusing the offer.

are you really just trying a glorified "[Inscription] LFW"? Come on, dude. "If someone tries to mass buy glyphs off me face to face, I'll turn them down."

But legit people mass buy glyphs all the time?

Not to mention that the following...

Quote from: Level 1 Alt
I think you are missing the point here. You are ni haoing for the middlemen. They then buy your gylphs and resell them at the appropriate price. Congrats on basically being their farmer.

.. works by them just buying out your auctions and relisting them. Like I said, you are going against dudes who have this stuff down to bots or never leaving their computer.

So I'm curious to see how you do, but a bit cynical in predicting the result. I guess if nothing else, you'll get a bit of good will for the legit people who can be bothered to trade you mats, but not quite a monopoly or even a public charity there.

So apparently on bigger servers there are robots who will post a dozen Azure Whelpings to the AH for 480 gold each and once that blew over I flipped it instantly for 1000 gold.

Not to be deterred in abusing the help of the Chinaman, I noticed one guy was posting dozens of stacks of Northrend Herbs for 7-12 gold a piece.

Long story short I now have a milling macro and have declared war upon the other glyph monopolists with my uncanny ability to not list everything I have at once.

An Elemental Shaman can solo most of Zul'Gurub save for fucking Thekal. Tome of Polymorph Turtle on first Hydra. Woooooooah~hayo.

Also I was able to get my bank alt's guild established in record time by appealing to RPers with super formal and mildly witty personal whispers, sometimes taking cues from their RP addon profiles. Took maybe twenty minutes and 50 gold to get it done this time with minimal walking(UC->SMC.)

I'm pretty sure that Defenestration being an idiot is going to do little beyond making Eika richer.

I quit the game. Though I do wonder what would have happened with time. I had about 15-20 regular customers after a couple of weeks. Oh well.

Buy out Mageroyal for two weeks before event for 1 gold or less a piece.

Resell them all for much more.

Dump rest of stock at price after profits to punish undercutters.

The Life.

Seems glyphs have reached their last great hurrah. They're finally selling for more than 2 gold above mat cost per glyph... I offloaded a handful(120ish) of old glyphs after passing them out among my alts and have already made nearly 3,000 gold in blind-fire mass under-cut mode.

Limited time market, naturally. Wouldn't be surprised if it was dead/too undercut already.

Moving 7-8 Solid Majestic Zircons a day for 150g a pop still works much better than I thought it would!  I swear, Camp Transmute is the best idea I've had all expansion.
