TF2 Boardgame
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:41:15 AM »

For 2-8 players in 2 teams.
Each team has 6 units (on a 2 player game each player controls 6, on a 4 player game each controls 3, and so on). Everyone starts at their team's spawn.
On each team's turn the players can do a move (most units move 1 square per turn) and an attack action (attacking a unit on the same or on an adjacent square) for each unit they control.

One thing I notice that might be valuable is an indication of the classes' movement speed. Also, as it stands, the needlegun is strictly inferior to the bonesaw, so you may want to replace it with the Blutsauger - especially since the Medic currently lacks passive self-healing.

So make it a miniatures game and encourage customizing the figures, obviously.

OK, clarifications and detailing of rules:

Each team has to choose 6 different units (no repeats)
Units can move then attack, or attack then move.
All units move one square per turn, except Pyro (can move twice if he doesn't attack) and Scout (moves twice).
An "unmoved" unit didn't move on their last turn.
Killing an unit gives 1 ammo to a unit in the same square (friendly to the killer if possible, opposing team otherwise).

I refuse to play this hatless bastardization of TF2.
