I don't see the bonkball as taking me out of the game anymore than pushback from a sentry taking control away from me.  I don't mind either because they are functions of the game created as obstacles the player must learn to beat.  Without unique mechanics offering different skills necessary to overcome them, there would be nothing interesting about TF2 or any other game.

in short, bongo bill, as I've found myself noticing before in many unrelated scenarios, is making a retarded argument.
