The logical end of all such arguments is always a burqa.  :whoops:

Ungodly dressed women are responsible for their own rape.

Not a new concept by any means (blaming the victim), but I find it interesting that in the article, the woman who hands out the pamphlet states that even though "nothing is showing" the girl is still doing something wrong.  So even dressing modestly and covering up your body is provoking rape these days.  What else can one do other than not showing body parts?

Learn how to defend themselves, or exercise basic street smarts.  This is the message that every police officer that tours community centers up here tries to give, that the person is a victim because he or she acts like a victim..

Seriously, this is the exact same sort of logic that's used by the frakking bedouin wahabis to push forward the Niqu'ab and the Burqu'a through force.  This is the same logic from the main group that exports the expansion of islamic states through insurgencies in weak and failing states to push through a continued war against america and it's allies, and has no place in civil society.

Yea but the woman was saying that even though she was not showing any part of her body, she was still inviting it.  How far in the opposite direction do these people expect women to go as far as their clothing is concerned?  How is telling women not to dress like women going to help anything?

Still identifies you as a woman!  Which means by wearing one, you are inviting rape. :itsatrap:

They know the true path lies in keeping women from being rape victims rather than keeping men from being rapists.

Sometimes I play the "rape victim" in order to complete my gestation cycles but most of the time it's just the horrible tentacles and forceful insertion

I think the only way to win here is to stop trying to argue with insane people.

MCE:  My apologies I didn't read your question properly.

Here is the edited response:

Niquab when out, male escort at all times otherwise at home.

Removal of the female from the public spaces,

Social downgrading of society from lessons learned in the last century in health and education.  Stunned growth and discovery, an environment suitable for arranged marriages is what I see in my books.

I think some women want to believe it's the woman's fault, because the alternative is that you can be raped at any time and there's nothing you can do to prevent it.

Thad, are you saying it doesn't sound like the kind of false dichotomy someone would construct without meaning to?
