It is interesting that Nintendo is publishing this (like IX) rather than Square-Enix (like IV and V). I wonder why.

Kind of disappointed they turned this one 3d. This was maybe the one DQ of the old 6 that I wouldn't have minded being ported as is on the graphics ala Chrono Trigger with a few extras.

I dunno, they've done a pretty fantastic job making the previous 3d ones still feel just like the old DQ games, and they've got the engine all worked out.  I was still able to navigate most of the DQIV dungeons by memory.
