There is only one row of lemonade, and Leninade was no longer there.  But there is one that looks like a medicine bottle with a big skull and crossbones I think I will try next time.

They probably had leninade, it just wasn't out that day. Generally speaking, they'll have anything that's on their website. If you can't find something, ask.

Sprecher is absolutely amazing. This pizza place that is just a tiny littl ehole in the wall offers nothing but this for drinks. Now I see why and wonder why I have never seen this before.

Is it worth having a case shipped all the way from Milwaukee?  :wat:

puma kola was good. Honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Not sure what that has to do with pumas but it's tasty

[Insert Warthog joke here.]

I had orange cream today. They are once again sold out of rootbeer.

Hm, will have to check it out.  I've still got a Mountain Dew Throwback in the fridge.

And several bottles of cane-sugared Coke.  They're not any kind of special throwback marketing campaign, they're just imported from Mexico.  (Costco got in a fight with Coke's American bottling company.)

One of the good things about living in Texas is that I can now find Dublin Dr. Pepper's in just about any convenience or grocery store.  This are cane-sugar made Dr. Pepper's and are fantastic.

I also find the timing of this release of HFCS-free Dr. Pepper to be a bit weird, as a gas station near my house has been selling what I call "Green Dr. Pepper", which has a green label and is made with real sugar.  It's had this for weeks, and it becomes a struggle not to buy it everyday.

Earlier this year, Heritage Dr Pepper was a thing.  It, too, was cane sugar Dr Pepper.  It was really good and I miss it.

We've had real sugar coke the whole time. No sodium benzoate, unlike our Dr. Pepper and Fanta which have it.

Hm. I pretty much drink Dr. Pepper as my main pop. Wonder if they'll have it in Canuckistan.

It would be nice if they had this (or the cane sugar version) all the time as a higher-priced "luxury version". I'd switch.

I've acquired some.  It tastes different than "regular" Dr Pepper but not in any quantifiable way.

I do feel a lot less like it's giving me an instant diabetic shock though.

don't really drink soda anymore, but back in my days working at the airport, we had a 50 cent can soda machine, and of dr pepper i quickly discovered that though the first few sips were blissful, the last few were something approximating industrial runoff

Honestly though, at the end of the day, the third ingredient after "water" and "sugar" is still "phosphoric acid".

It's like the filters in cigarettes.

Shit's only killing me more slowly now.

EDIT: Shit wait no acid's the fourth ingredient.  The third is food coloring.
