So, barring a miracle in the Sinistral/BfES match, our final four is going to be Magus, Big Bridge, Born to be Bone, and The Battle for Everyone's Souls. Now, one of the oft touted pitfalls of Democracy is how in the end, nobody actually gets what they want. Of course, in Government, this is because compromise is required for 350 million people to live together and not kill each other (more than usual, I mean), but in a little micro-thing, like the Hottest Boss Poll, I'm curious. The final four is probably "far enough to count" as far as anyone should be concerned, so:

Did your favorite/top boss track make it? Or have we systematically eliminated everyone's favorites in favor of everyone's second and third places?

Please keep in mind that when I say "favorite/top pick" I mean exactly that. I mean ever. I don't mean "your favorite on the poll" or "your favorite after my other, more favorite track was eliminated earlier". I mean your favorite all time boss theme. I don't care why it's your favorite, or how it's only your favorite because nostalgia and so and so is actually a better track blah blah blah fucking blah.

None of my (serious) nominations made it to the poll, but if my top pick hadn't been in your initial sixteen, I'd have nominated it myself. It was eliminated in the first round.

Being able to call over half the boards a bunch of tasteless philistines is worth more to me than my choice winning, however, so it's all good.

Eeeh, I kind of hate ranking songs, especially videogame songs.

Out of the top four, my favorite is the Persona 3 song. I would probably place Darkness Nova and Devil May Sly above it, but whatever.

I would probably put Shadow Devil X5 as my favorite of all time largely because of the intensity and nostalgia of it, but it honestly jockeys in and out of that position with a couple of other songs -- Dancing Mad, Heavily Armored Porky, Born to be Bone, and Oracle all included.  So I voted for "my favorite didn't make it past the write-in" but since four of my other all time favorites were eliminated, yeah you're all philistines.

My top pick would have been Ushiwaka's Dance, so it's difficult to answer this question precisely. That said, I can't possibly disagree with a final four like this one, and to begin with I was never under any illusions that any of my write-ins would make it this far.
