Catherine: Q*Bert, Lovecraftian Horrors, and Bedpissin'

Comes out soon enough and I know for a fact that half the people here will grab a copy eventually.
Anyone else grabbed that demo?

I was worried about the puzzle bits but they are interesting and fast paced. I can definitely see how that'll get super hard later on.
Art looks phenomanal, the voice acting great, story sounds to be fantastic.
Moral choice system
? Interesting. If there's anyone who can do something nice with this, I'd bet Atlus would be the ones.

So I got this half off with the sale going on this month on PSN and holy shit is it good.  Now, I happen to really like box puzzles, but damn the whole package is just basically fantastic.  I've beat it once now, and out of the eight endings I got the
Good Catherine
ending which
takes all the nuance and depth of the crumbling relationship that forms the backbone of the game and turns it into an insane Urusei Yatsura pastiche and basically I could not be any more satisfied with my choices.
Apparently getting Gold ranks on stages lets you then skip those stages in subsequent playthroughs so you can purely play the story mode to get the other endings, so I might try to polish up my climbing runs a bit.

I should come back to this game. I really enjoy the trappings, but I got burned out on block pushing.
