Welp, finally got around to catching up. Quite a good finale, really; there's one very obvious plothole that they don't shy away from and even kinda wave in our face, which means there's a reset button if they ever want to throw it.
Finally got around to reading Bleeding Cool's recent coverage. Appears that
Kelly won't be back, which I'm all right with; I think her character arc has been resolved satisfyingly and I don't need to see more of her. (Indeed, season 3 kinda had that problem with Alisha; they just didn't seem to know what to do with her. Or Curtis, once
he gave up his new power
, for that matter.
The Bleeding Cool article mentions that Lauren Socha, who plays Kelly, recently pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault of a cab driver; the studio, naturally, is denying that this has anything to do with her leaving the show.
Gross -- apparently she really IS a chav.
There are three knew characters joining the cast; BC has the non-spoilery
casting calls for them.
Jess (Female)Jess is a kind of female version of Larry David - smart and articulate, She's the person who will say the un-sayable, the person who'll question social norms and etiquette. Jess hates people who bullshit and lie to her.
Finn (Male)Finn has a childlike naively optimistic view of life, he's always eager to please and enthusiastic about life.Finn talks a lot and often uses this to try and talk himself out of difficult or awkward situations. He is very funny.
Alex (Male)Alex is the sexiest guy on the estate. He is super good looking, all the girls fancy him but for some reason he is very standoffish, he doesn't seem interested in girls. Everyone reads this as being extremely suspicious and suspect it's power related.
