Yeah, I was about to post about that. I've been looking forward to Redder for a while.

It's pretty good for a platformer with no player actions other than jumping.

The level design is not anything to write home about, but for a game with such simple mechanics it at least kept my interest up until the 10th crystal so it must be doing something right.

The indiegaming blog mentions it having "real difficulty". I can't say I find the game very hard, I think a game any easier than this would just be boring. The learning curve is pretty decently handled though, with a nice exploratory area at the start that exposes the player to the switches and the shooty things leading into more slightly more dastardly shooty thing sequences.

I found the limited interaction with the enviroment to be sort of unsatisfying though.

From my cursorary attempt at playing it I give this game:

2/5

It starts slow, yeah, but it complicates later.

Congratulations, dessgeega! I think you're a lock for 2010's "Most Likely to Cause Seizing in Epileptics" award.

YOU MUST CAPTURE THE PLAYER IN THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES

20% OF ALL USERS ARE LOST IN THE LOADING SCREEN

ZYNGA HAS CHARTS THAT PROVE THIS

How unfortunate, since this is probably my favorite game she's made yet.

okay i guess the endstuff was kinda cute but i stand by my "generally boring" stance.

Fishface is honestly more engaging to me and it only uses ONE BUTTON.

This game is pretty hard, but you get infinite lives and there's check points.

I just really like the level designs and scenery. Everything has this really great Technos or Konami look to it.
