MY main annoyance with the game right now, other than not getting many people to play at once, is that the prospector's gun shoots through blocks. So, if there's ore with-in range and it's anywhere past where you're pointing, it's pretty useless.

Call a miner to help and then start digging. Hopefully he'll understand the general direction you're going towards.

This. I've played with my friend within shouting distance and miner + prospector pretty much breaks the "real" game. The holes we dug to find one gold vein were hilariously long. The cheapness (cost-wise) of the ladder removes any difficulty in digging back up.

Also, lava at height zero is hilarious and the best game set up ever.

Is that Eddy Murphy? If so then this is the funniest thing he's done since... uh... Bowfinger.

First episode of the long awaited mod Curse was released yesterday. It's an adventure game with heavy emphasis on exploration, and a little bit of puzzle solving. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's fucking gorgeous if nothing else. Give it a shot.

As much as I like the idea of the game, anything with swarms of zombies and not the "one touch and you're turned" survival types is a lose in my book.

They're not zombies, they're mummies! They just act like zombies.

Finished the game, killed Legion, awaiting the next one.  It's a fun game, and is a throwback to old school FPS games.  Get keys, open doors, kill monsters.  Simple as that.  I gotta admit, when the sky changed colors and the entire map changed from hellish nightmare to calm day right before my eyes, that was pretty cool.  Combat was simple and so easy as to be more of a distraction than an actual challenge.  The part where snakes make a path for the player was pretty damn cool, but took me out of the game for a bit as I had no choice but to watch.

Otherwise A+ would play episode 2.

It's kinda cool, but the combat which boils down to waggle the mouse around while holding W really ruins the fun.

Succor is brilliantly frustrating. You are your own worst enemy, and your own best friend.

With such wonderful innovations as "collect dots" or "push ball" levels or "user-generated impossible level design", how can I refuse?

P.S. It's horrible.

So I checked Gametap's free section and apparently it's a mere shadow of its former self.

I don't know if anyone here likes The Deadliest Catch, but there's a Bering Sea browser game.  I wouldn't call it an MMO, because the only interacting with other people is through the chat window.  Also, it seems designed for you to just make a few moves and let it sit for about five hours, rather than constantly grinding.
