Teleporter entrances need to be activated by pressing 'E'.
The only (small) problem is that sometimes one wouldn't be able to call for medic, and/or accidentally teleport while trying to do so.

It is a better overall situation, however.

call for medic

<--- HURR.

Let's all pretend I hadn't met with my dear friend Mr. Daniels for lunch, and instead typed that the command should simply be bound to a key.

my biggest beef with dustbowl

Without a shadow of a doubt, the control points in Dustbowl capture far too quickly. The worse offender being Control Points 1 & 5 on Badlands, a map that already encourages zomg scoot rush.

While on the subject of bitchin' 'bout dat map, I'll just point out that resetting back to the first area after a RED win is antiquated, and not as rewarding as intended. As with Gold Rush & Egypt, the majority of games are fought in the first area, and familiarity breeds contemptuous boredom. Badwater excepted.

I've played Egypt like three times and I'm already bored with it.

Egypt is simply a matter of seeing how long it takes before half the defense is engineer.

Egypt 1-2 has three entryways and everyone uses one, so I hate playing offense there.

Egypt 2-2 has two entryways, but three engineers can build in such a way that you need 4 simultaneous ubers and two good spies working in tandem to take the point.

I forget what Egypt 3 even looks like.

:mahboi: The entire blame for this statistical imbalance falls upon Demos opening The Gate.

I will never be convinced of otherwise.

If nobody caps the center point within 60 seconds it counts as a stalemate.

dustbowl is a first control point cap in 30 seconds then 10 minutes of fighting over the second cp

over and over and over

The stats thing seems to only care that you EVENTUALLY (much like the Sun will eventually burn out) get to one of the end points, which cant stalemate, regardless of how fucking many times you stalemate on the way there

I think it's because nobody plays that map, so the sample size is smaller, and this data is only collected over the past week or so.

new update, includes some sort of... stop to crouchspam?  :wat:

also natascha is debroken (now for them to make the fucking axtinguisher crit when its supposed to again)

and they FINALLY FIXED the Flamethrower being stuck on after a crit (a bug that had been around since LAUNCH)

and you can sidestab again, and the spy disguise weapon thing defaults to the primary (no more getting stuck as AXE PYRO)

Although there are now reports of engies being COMPLETELY UNABLE TO JUMP OVER SENTRIES (probably a bug)

Huh. For me it's always like... 1 minute, then 5 seconds.

Of course, if your team is shit and you DON'T take the first cap point in a fairly reasonable amount of time, not only is it frustrating and embarassing, but it's also terribly boring, (because by definition it means you are getting spawn-fucked).

NOTE: I do not, nor will I ever, complain about 'spawn campers'. All fair in etc. etc. gents.

Seriously?  I had begun to think that was somehow intentional, like the Pyro not doing anything on the class select screen.
