"New content" does not, traditionally, mean "new changes to old content".

Yeah, my first reaction was to try and imagine something like the engineer/spy upgrade where the engie got lvl3 on all buildings and the spy could pick up ammo boxes to remain cloaked.

They said new content and changes that will effect all classes. I don't believe these to be the same thing.

In addition, we've got another update in the works that should be done before the Sniper, and that one will include some new content for all classes.

I stand corrected. I still don't think it will be anything much more impressive that a broad re-balancing.

Well, the Random drops code got another change during the scout patch.

(this would have the side effect of reducing the number of snipers, because EVERYONE could get new shit)

So which is more satisfying as a pyro:

Getting other players to start complaining about W+M1?

or

Being so successful at killing other pyros with the flare gun that the other team's pyros start switching to it?

The most satisfying to hear as any class:

"Someone get that damn ______!"

Most satisfying is definitely "Fuck you, Bal"

So, I popped my TF2 cherry for reals* tonight.  Gravitated toward Medic due to the pathological refusal for anyone to play it, and was mildly successful.  Ubered some people, and settled in a good spot with a heavy for a minute or so while he laid waste to our enemies and I soaked up assist points for his kills.  I even managed to shank someone with the saw.

All in all, pretty damn fun.

*my actual first time playing was a few months back, when I was in the UK on a crappy wifi connection

Hey did anybody else notice that Spy got a teeny upgrade where now you can hit primary fire while cloaked to spend 5% of your cloak meter to create a fake corpse?

My thinking is that you have to be a REALLY adept spy make any effective use of it, but it's neat all the same. If only I could stop accidentally creating corpses while trying to freakin' backstab.

Then again, I'm a terrible spy with (I think) two successful backstabs to my name total.

It's secondary fire, and that's a server mod, similar to medics dropping health when they die or engies dropping ammo/metal boxes when they die

so, in other words, it's awful

The problem is that corpses last like a total of three seconds in TF.
