Bongo, drop a surprise sentry, let it rack up a kill, blow it up.
Run somewhere else, drop another surprise sentry, let it get a kill or two, blow it up.
Keep your infinite ammo pistol out as your main combat weapon.
Then, when you've racked up a ton of revenge crits, GO HOG WILD!

McDohl, I hate being an Engineer, I can't aim, and I don't have the Frontier Justice anyway.
So I'm just going to wait until I get a random Gunslinger.
Frontier Justice: The shotgun that gives you revenge crits for each kill your sentry does.
The Wrangler: The Atari controller that turns 2fort into Wranglerfort (Formerly Sniperfort)
The Gunslinger: BIG. ROBOT. HANDS.
Bongobill has none of these.
Bongo, may I suggest the following strategy: Round starts, drop your tele entrance at spawn. Run back in, refill metal, set up the sentry right outside spawn in a fashion that it can slice up any scout or demoknight that decided to try and be cute and spawncamp. Whack it up to Level 2. Get dispenser to 3, Sentry to 3, tele Exit to 3.
By this time your team will have made some progress. If they have not, nothing you can do as engineer at this level will help them. Quit and find another server.
Should they show promise, alert your team that you would like a bit of help/protection setting the farm up. Move the dispenser up first, but not directly at the front lines. A bit back. A dispenser tells dim teamates "I should stand here with infinite ammo and rack up kills" and good teamates "This is where we can hold the line."
Grab the teleporter next and place it in a similar fashion. Not right AT the front lines, but far enough away from spawn that you give your team a quick trip to the battle.
Now run back, grab your sentry, teleport up with your team, and place it as close as you think you can get it to where it can unfold to L3 before being shredded. Refill your metal to 200 while you're at spawn if you want to sentry-tank it while it pops up.
Ideally, getting the sentry to level 3 and having it spray Texas Death everywhere - even if it's just for a few seconds before it's destroyed - will help your team push to the point/push back the rush. A large part from your rants in FF seem to be based around you seem to be on
really bad teams. That or the fact that the engineers' farm works tremendously better as an asset to the Team assaulting the Fortress(es) (2).
It's also the only way you'll ever have it stay up long enough to do some work, until you learn the more clever tricks of Fungineering.
