If Joxam is okay with it I could set Kayin up with rad kicks.

If there is a way to give him the option to kick and ban someone and that is all, I'll allow it. But as it is, I'm already very displeased the way I see a few of you use your mod powers on a daily basis. And no, I'm not talking about Joke No Clip.

I'm talking about steam rolling on a map and then claiming its too one sided so there is a forced map change instead of letting the other side attack on gravel pit, a steam rolling map. I'm talking about getting a map you don't want in the RTV and changing the map as soon as it comes up. Most of this shit only happens at night, and I don't want to give too many of the evening players powers over it.

I know I'm repeating myself but I do think Kayin would be just fine. He seems pretty responsible. On SM anyway.

And as for late night map changes... I'm actually kind of mystified by that.

I haven't seen anyone doing that myself, and I sure as hell haven't ever used my powers (always try to be as much of a hands off mod/admin as possible... I'll do stuff if most folks agree they want it, but that's about it).

Granted, I'm only on 2-3 nights a week, so I guess it'd be easy for me to miss it someone else is doing it, but I thought the problem with the late-night crew was a LACK of admins rather than a trigger-happy one.

yyler what is your secret no-eyes code
I don't know, because my boyfriend found that and then I got a new hard drive and forgot to save launch options, but this thread could help you http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1081486

I'll ask him when he gets home

He says he just googled something to the effect of tf2 optimization and ended up following a TF2 thing and some HL2 things since, you know. I can't find the eye stuff but there's some interesting ideas you could check out

I changed from a ctf map to steel last night because we had like 12 people total and after late night ctf maps we always end up with like 6, so I felt totally justified.

Yeah, really all I want is vigilante justice. Or the situation Patito mentioned (and no, just because I hate CTF doesn't mean I'd switch every time it comes up.  But when people vote for doublecross when it's like 3 vs 4, screw them!). RTV seems a pretty strong tool already and usually if I'm annoyed or the whole situation seems terrible, enough people will RTV that admin action isn't needed. Generally speaking, in all the many things I've admined for, I prefer to be as hands off as possible until theres actually a problem.

Also I almost feel like CTF should also be nominate only. It pretty much never leads to a good match. I think the only time it would be appropriate would be with near full teams. I mean, I'm obviously bias against CTF, but really how many times have a CTF match turned out well? Besides Brontos vs TT, I think maybe.... like.. twice? Maybe? Not that this is a big deal (it comes up maybe once a night but is also usually corrected pretty quickly) but I'm just throwing that out there.

I love how it's apparently a requirement of all male employees of Mann Co. to have a mustache.
