Some great bugs, bugs, and more bugs in this patch.

Seems building via the console is a bit BROKEN right now.  Someone said spy engineers can build using the commandline, but I haven't seen proof yet.
Spy spies can build via commandline. I just tried it myself. Built a dispenser. Like the old bug. That's all they can build, I think.

Lottel and I had like ten sentries built (as engineers) on ShMo before a jerk pubbie demo blew them all up :(

If anyone wants to know how, you can build sentries by doing "build 2 <number>" in the console.
"build 2 -1", "build 2 -2", "build 2 -3", "build 2 -9001", etc
just keep incrementing the number.


or "build 0 <number>" for dispensers. (spies too!)

It bears mentioning spies can't sap if the build until they return to the spawn locker. But still build your own dispenser. Free healing/infinte cloaking when you need to hide.

Just a thought. The pyro could also benefit from more mobility but I don't know how that would work without stepping on another classes toes.

Rocket skates. Similar to the Targe's charge, but you take smashing damage for running into things. Also, if you go over a ledge you hang in mid air for a second while your legs windmill hilariously.

I just thought of a buff to Pyro that would slightly justify the damage reduction:  Fire hurts more and/or lasts longer if you're near other people who are on fire.  Meaning, if a Pyro successfully ignites a group, it's in the group's best interest to scatter briefly and hopefully buy time/be picked off buy the Pyro's team.

This would secure the Pyro as a support class, but it would also make the Pyro amazingly irritating while leaving him as a toothless pansy.

See, as someone who's terrible with the airblast (I don't know if it's all me, or if the terrible framerates I get are partly to blame, but I literally can't poof to save my life), I am now going to switch to the hurrburner. Even though I couldn't poof projectiles, I would still use the airblast to extinguish teammates, juggle, and break up ubers. But now? For god's sake, cute-tricks-are-cute, but I need to be able to do some DAMAGE at least. The game already heavily favours classes with better raw damage output over the more gimmicky ones.

But still feels wrong. Like I'm being forced to use a subpar weapon and abandon my teammates just to play a class. It feels like playing sniper now.

They were bugged so pretty much everyone got the weekend warrior badge. Also apparently they were switched around; Weekend Warrior was gold, Grizzled Veteran was bronze.

Well, the game does seem to be regressing back to bronze-age warfare with each successive class update, so the confusion is perhaps understandable.  :whoops:

for what it's worth, you don't really need to extinguish people anymore.
