You will note that in megaman 9 wily was not an undead cyborg and there were no buzzsaw-hand robots.

Amist a largely futile slog through the JAPNET for some Hajime Ueda art I could use for further reference/practice, I came across a pretty sweet ICO fanart I guess he did back in 2007 for Gamespot.jp? Maybe? Hard to tell.

The sprites and the two in general are basically identical in that "Superman is Clark Kent when he is wearing glasses" sort of way.
