You have to be using the beta version, don't you?

Incidentally, every time I try to install the beta version, I end up still using the stable version. What gives? Turns out trying to install the Chrome beta from within Chrome is not the best idea.

BB:
Start the download then close the window. Then the stable version will go away forever.

Looking through these extensions... None of these are useful to me at all!

And having to add buttons all over the place? Doesn't that go against Chromes "WE HATE BUTTONZ AND WAN TO PUT EFERY THING SIMPLED" thing?

Some extensions let you take the buttons away. I don't know why everything doesn't implement that.

Honestly, I'd simply like to put a couple of these in my bookmarks bar.

Well, nothing here makes me want to switch from FF as my main browser.

I only use Chrome for Google related business and for the rare instances FF has problems loading a page.

FAKE EDIT: I like how over half of the extensions have to do with Facebook/Twitter. Really people?

Yeah, got to do it from some other browser, it seems.

Oh well, I got XMarks and Google Reader Watcher and I can get an ad blocker if I need it, and I think I can figure out how to get user scripts, so that's more than half the reasons I have for not switching. Most of the rest seem unlikely to change ever.

No, but neither does Firefox. Or Safari. Or Opera.

If you're talking about extensions that change that, be the change you want to see.

Hrm.  Here's one I should probably add to the posting guidelines:

Before you state something as a fact, consider spending three seconds Googling it.

(...you may be right on the current version of Opera.)

Firefox 3.5.7 on Linux is much much faster than Firefox has been on Linux for ages.
