I've got a new laptop and I'm 30 or so episodes into Higurashi (right after
Takano executes bitches on the ground yessss
) and I really don't feel like the show has anything left to offer, so I can't be bothered transferring them over to my new computer. Can someone give me a mild spoiler as incentive to keep watching?

I watched episode 1 of Ladies Vs Butlers and it's... not very good, BUT the main girl has drill hair and it makes loud drilling sounds and spins when she gets mad. It is animated by the Kanokon people, which is how I found out about it in the first place.

Between this and D4 Princess (and that robot show) I seem to be unable to stop myself watching things with drills in them, regardless of how bad they are. You'd think I'd like Mr Driller more?

Skip to 8:16 or so for the next Tetsuo: The Iron Man.

That is actually probably the best way to experience it. The ending is a total bait and switch.

In fact, I'm just going to spoil the ending.
Doris and another Panzer are rescuing some construction workers and her friend ACTUALLY DIES and Doris becomes deeply depressed. The series ends with her trying to get over it and get on with her life, it's a total fucking downer.
I just finished watching the entirety of Gurren Lagann for the first time and my throat is sore from cheering, my arms are sore from making fists and pumping them. This is the greatest thing I have ever seen.

I won't say the ending was too silly, but I will say I had a hard time keeping a straight face through it.

Haruhi movie has been subbed, but the only video source currently available is a terrible camrip.

To the people who've read the translation of the book a hundred times and think they know this movie, let me tell you now: you do not. This movie is presented in a way that puts more power behind the words than any translation alone could do justice to.

Oh good, subbed by people who I immediately want to round up and ship into the center of the sun.

Doki is also planning a sub, I dunno how far along they are.

I am waiting for a better video source before watching the movie.

I'm a little behind. Did the Haruhi anime get another season yet? Is it subbed? Is it secret? Is it safe?

No.  Endless 8 never happened.  Never ask about Haruhi's second season again.  NEVER.

I'd heard bad things but certainly it's somewhat salvageable!

Catloaf is just being difficult, endless 8 was perfectly fine as long as you watched just as much as you could handle.

My girlfriend couldn't handle more than one a week.  We got backlogged once and she refused to watch two in a row.
