The anime isn't as good as the manga, and I can't say anything about the porn game it's originally based on.  The second  season is also better than the first season, especially the end of the first season and the taking way too long on the Mion/Shion explanation arc which has always been my least favorite.

Yeah, the second season is way better--You actually get a real explanation of why the fuck it's happening and who the fuck keeps
killing Rika-chama
That and
Oyashiro-sama
get's to actually be a participating character.
As an adorable little girl with horns.
Note, the spoilers may be spoilers, but they're more for people who haven't watched/read the series at all.  Anyone who's seen a good portion of it shouldn't be too bothered by them as they raise far more questions than they answer.
there was no way for her to push him off the bridge. He even said, "What the hell is this shit?"
Are you talking about
the same little girl that pushed Keiichi halfway across a classroom
?

I didn't find that any more plausible!

It makes total sense. She is, after all, the athletic one in the Harem of Doom.

So I got the Negima bonus animes (the OADs for Ala Alba and Another World) and sure enough, Classic has disappointed himself again (for reasons that could best be described as insane).

Negima is a harem series that really wants to be a solid shonen series with a little more T&A than is really necessary. So an animated production that cuts out the boring crap (girly emotions) and focuses on the serious Shonen goodness should be awesome, right?

While the first episode of Another World focuses for half of its length on setting up the motivations for the central characters (neglecting about a dozen characters who, have lines, but ultimately linger on the periphery) and the other half on a reasonably exciting magic fight. However, this anime originally comes with a bound collection of the manga. So you're expected already to know the special powers of the various characters from other contexts. Without that background knowledge the logic of the combat is about as intelligible as a devout Sega player watching a SSB:Brawl battle.

The Ala Alba series focuses in equal parts on "wacky" love hina type slapstick ::(: ; Fights meant to illustrate how the characters have grown; and some mix of skits (some of which make me crack a smile) and training.

My insane complaint is basically that the animators don't know how to make kung fu look good. Maybe it's because I'm insane?
And on top of that

I still haven't seen past episode 13 because my computer isn't beefy enough to play high-def encodes.

I thought that was supposed to be
all the characters who died, but then I noticed Rosshiu and... well a bunch of survivors.

Unless that second-to-last tier is all people who didn't go on SG Dai-Gurren?  First-string dead characters, first-string staybehinds, second-string martyrs, second-string staybehinds, third-string... uh... bosses?
ANYWAY, I enjoyed the series' ever-escalating battles of insanity, but honestly about my favorite battle was the first final battle. It had the perfect blend of insane, over-the-top action.
Also the part where Lordgenome walked out of his Gunman and started wailing on the Lagann with his own two fists was pretty badass
.

Watched the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episodes over the last few days. If you've read the manga, then you'll know everything that happens in it because they're pretty strict in following it.

But damn are the fight scenes nicely done.
The Huges death scene and funeral still brings a tear to my eye.
