Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica OST 2 - Decretum

What little I've heard about this series sounds intriguing.  Does it come recommended?

There are two reasons why we'll never see Digimon Xros Wars on this side of the Pacific:

Thanks for the recommendation.  That was some damn good animes.  It threw me a bit when one of the episodes had the default subtitling in witch wingdings, but aside from that it was an enjoyable viewing.

Just watched Arrietty.  The movie was very satisfying, and I'm glad to see that Studio Ghibli finally found a director (hopefully) worthy of being Miyazaki's heir.  After Goro's last two miserable showings, I was starting to worry.

Well Trigun: Badlands Rumble is finally out on dvd. While it feels like a extended Trigun episode without the cut's it's still really good. Has a solid ending and the villain is quite a joy. I watched it awhile back in sub's and while I loved the american dub of the series, the fact they changed Milly, Meryl, and Wolfwoods VA's it lost some of the spark. Bosch couldn't save them this time.

I enjoyed Badlands Rumble, even though it felt completely unnecessary. Calling it an extended episode is right -- with decent animation! Trigun was the first anime fandom that I really got into, so it was nostalgic in that way.

Mawaru Penguindrum - ROCK OVER JAPAN (生存戦略)

Mawaru Penguin Drum is up to episode 13 out of 24. Anytime comparisons to Utena are made it suffers, but I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Gundam AGE is really good even though the suit it's self is a little h4x.
"I can make new weapons for myself based on enemy data"
Yeah, didn't dig that too much, but it was new, and interesting. I just hope it doesn't break the series. Don't let the art fool you, it's still a awesome Gundam show.

Alright well, a couple issues after that it goes right back to being depressing and unpleasant again.

How does this man think of such exotic ways for awful things to happen

alright so it turns out that gantz?? isn't an alien or anything but it is in fact a fat retarded german girl who was orchestrating world war 3

then some things happened and I jumped in at issue 304 whereat the plan goes into effect and all of america and like china and such are razed to the ground by an invading alien force who are like, they look like humans a lot but they have four eyes and they're five humans tall and all decked out with gantz tech (which is where I assume the fat retarded german girl got hers) and they start bringing in their building-sized xenomorph mechs and city-sized colony ships and just utterly fuck up Tokyo for four solid issues before the gantz dudes discover that there's dozens of other gantz teams per city across the world and that they were being trained to repel this invasion the whole time

now they're being forced by the lead team in their city to go on missions (because they still have those bombs in their heads) to attack the colony ships and slaughter alien civilians who it turns out are using captured humans like we use cattle to spice up their food and such

It was pretty awesome at the start but now they're getting right back to terrible things happening to every character and I dunno

I don't loathe the whole of humanity nearly enough as Hiroya Oku and you really have to feel like everyone had this sort of thing coming to enjoy the wholesale slaughter of thousands each page

I mean I like robots and such as much as the next fella but now there's giant alien mutant grasshoppers trying to rape the main guy's girlfriend and I immediately remembered that this series is written by a sociopath

So is Hiroya Oku actually a sociopath, or is that just the assumption based on the fact that he's writing such horrific stuff?
