Nonono, that was a statement about how outros tend to be universally bad. And yes, I agree, it was watchable. For an example of a bad one FMA used, see Winry montage.

Fun Fact: Gato's Japanese VA is also Dr.Blackjack, Batou from GITS, Captain Nemo from Nadia and Solid Snake.

Had me going there for a moment. Richard Epcar (the English Batou) also voiced Kelly Layzner in 0083, and could likely pull off some oddball Snake if required. Trying to make him cut loose in real life was a trip.

I've started watching the Black Jack OVA series on Netflix because, hey, it's there.

It's.... pretty awful. Over dramatic and overacted, with little to no Tezuka charm. Animation's not so hot, either; lots of panned stills trying to pass as action shots. My heart weeps.

At least it's not the product of painstaking research.  Can't imagine what that would do to a person.

The manga had the best ending ever
In the middle of a heated battle with major character casualties, a magical creature comes out of hibernation, puts everyone to sleep, then goes "The End" and goes back to sleep himself.
Dead serious.

Bible Black is far better as an OVA than an 'adventure game.' There's way too much clicking. Having to decide things is annoying. You never know what your decision will lead to. I thought I was helping that swimming chick by blackmailing the other two swimming chicks into giving me the dirty pictures they'd taken of her. Turns out she was pissed that I kept some and she and the other two tortured me to death.

That was Bottle Fairies yes.

There's also this site that says that the entire series was the girl at the end having psychotic hallucinations so don't ever read it because it makes you sad.
