We can never keep strays because our cats are big bullies

Kitties squint because they don't like camera flash. Our camera blows ass. ;___;

Badassfoundlingcat is literally half the size of our other cats (both of whom are also fully equipped with no less than 4 thumbs apiece), so that would be some very impressive badassery indeed.

IM's stray reminds me of my best friend's cat, who purchased her on account of her looking like a piece of poop.

Badasscat has been returned to her owner.

We went out last night to paper the neighbourhood with 'found cat' signs. only AFTERWARDS, do we come back and see an incredibly detailed description of the cat on a paper on the front door of our building (which pretty much guaranteed it was legit).

It wasn't there when we went out.  ::(:

So anyway, we're kind of looking forward to seeing how many complete assholes call trying to score a free cat (this does happen sometimes).  :glee:

P.S. the cat turned out to be named Wicket.

We took a couple of pretty good pictures of the cats the other day, as we do whenever we're overcome by cute.

This is our manman. The name on his birth certificate is "Hansel", however he goes by 'boy', 'man', 'manman', 'boopy boy', 'fumz man', 'hot fudge mandae' (drizzled with chocolate, you see) and any number of other horribly cloying monikers, separately or in combination. They don't call them pet names for nothing folks.

He is made of smells and hair and fumz and cute.

This is our sweetgal. The name on her birth certificate is "Gretel" (yes, they are littermates), but she answers to 'cookie', 'woman', 'gal', 'rumblesnake', 'wew' and other even more sugary things.

She is made of smells and hair and rumbles and cute.

The ladies at the rescue seemed to think this was the best way to make potential adoptive families be interested in her!

Showcasing a dog that fits into most doll clothes? Yeah, I can see how that makes sense.

Some animals like clothes.  But not like, girly fluffy clothes.  I mean like, a winter coat because they don't have warm enough fur.

Greyhounds need sweaters because they have been bred to be amazingly bad at every aspect of life other than running fast.

Also, I love the expression on the dog's face: :wat: with a little bit of  ::(: mixed in.  Thus saying "Why are you doing this humiliating shit to me again?"

Unfortunately, it makes sense for a yorkie rescue.  I think anybody whose top dog is a yorkie wants a Prissy.
You can't really tell in the picture, I guess, but they actually put a pink pearl dog necklace on her with the bejeweled heart thing on it.  I died a little inside when they brought her back to me and she was wearing it. (I did not know there was such a thing as a dog necklace)

On the other hand, some dogs do need jackets for the cold like LD pointed out.
This guy is retardedly small and refuses to go outside without it if it's cold or raining.  But he hates wearing it indoors and it's not a necklace so I tolerate it.

OK. That makes me a little happy.

It's almost like he's ready to go to college and hit on sorority girls.
