I'm not sure that any book written by human hand could live up to the promise of this cover.

Oh my lord, it's a trilogy trololololology.

EDIT: The description is almost as good.

EBWOP:

So...using Google Images to search for more hits on that cover, I came across several Russian pages that talk about the book. Google Translate doesn't help much, but I got the ISBN: 5-93556-814-4

After that, I searched again until I found a site with a description...in Russian. Using Google again, it says:

Quote
Title: I'm going on "you"
Author: Igor A. Podgursky, Dmitry Romantovsky
Series: Belyanin and Company
Publisher: St. Petersburg., ARMADA: "Publishing Alpha Book"
ISBN: 5-93556-814-4

The more that the local vermin long and diligently muddies the water in every conceivable space-time continuum. And besides that muddies, so more and pours it into the hands of universal evil.

And then what?
And then for the swords, revolvers, and an elite squad pitchforks taken correction realities of the Committee of the Global Security Star of Russia. I think the medieval dude is actually supposed to be Illya Muromets and not Ivan the terrible, because that's what the ISBN entry says. Ilya Muromets (literally "Elijah of Murom") is a half-real medival knight-errant folk hero in Russia, sort of like King Arthur in how much of the story is legend, only they actually have the real body/grave and at least are sure he was a real person.

The other dude might be Stirlitz (a famous fictional WWII spy) but it might be Nikolai Kuznetsov (the real WWII spy Stirlitz was probably based on, at least partially).

But yeah, it's like a Russian comedy version of Quantum Leap.

Is it just me or is that possibly-Stirlitz character looking a heck of a lot like Dmitri Medvedev?

(the face, i mean)
