Mine's not triggered by stress, though.  It doesn't occur until I've been actually injured.  And I mean, actually injured.

Mocking laughter is a different beast though.  That's just me mocking you.

Pain can also trigger a fight or flight response, such as cortisol flow (another stress hormone).

You're not mutants, people. Go back to bed.

I laughed while I cursed Kazz out for kicking a beer can into the back of my head.

I learned that UPS is full of dumbs.  I was waiting for a package to arrive yesterday, and I waited and waited, and then checked the status of the package online and it said it'd been delivered.  And I was like....huh?  Then I saw the signature was my dad's girlfriend, so they delivered MY package to my dad's store.  They aren't similar addresses, but they are in the same town.  I think the dumb bastards at UPS just brought it over to the store just because it had Wolfson written on it.  Pretty fucking stupid and weird.

Don't blame that on UPS.  They're on very strict orders not to deliver to addresses not specified on the label.  Drivers in general ignore tons of standards of course.

I just learned that in Underworld they call the werewolves "Lycans", since I never saw the first movie.

This clears up a lot, because I kept hearing the radio advertisement for the second movie and hearing "WE CAN BE SLAVES...OR WE CAN BE LICHENS!"

Huh, and here I thought it was "We can be the caves or we can be the lichens."

I mean, that makes sense.  ...well it does.

By Lycans, they mean Wolfoids, right?

Yeah, I went through that a lot when they were advertising the first movie.  I still prefer it to what Underworld actually is.

See, when I left the second movie, I found myself saying, "You know what would have been way better?  If they'd just had the WHOLE MOVIE be set in medieval times like the first ten minutes."

Now that I've seen previews for the third, I am inclined to believe that I was wrong and that that will not be better at all.

I learned that there is apparently a blogger out there who writes all his entries in Middle English in the voice of Chaucer.  And all the people make their comments in Middle English.  I think that is so silly :D

The Flintstones had a fuck of a lot of spinoffs.

Disappointingly, the title Fred and Barney Meet the Thing was flagrant false advertising.

Windows XP defaults to its standard theme even if it doesn't recognize your video card and sets the resolution to 640x480x16 -- even though it knows enough to use the old Win95 icon theme.

(Something I already knew: if it can't find drivers for your network card, it will ask if you want to fucking check the fucking Internet for them.)

For some reason, I was thinking 1300 lines of Canterbury Tales wouldn't take me all fucking night to read.  It's like.........it never ends.  It takes forever to get through anything and then I have to reread to make sure my pronunciation isn't horrendous.  Why are you so hateful, Chaucer ;-;
