American Football is much like the Tactics series, complete with sadistic judges, except that Jesus is killed midway into the game (known as the half-time show).

The only thing I cared about in that show was that theme song.  Dunna dunna dunna dunna dun.

We read aloud in class, and I read some to Kazz before playing TF2 last week.  It's really quite fun, but then I start wanting to say modern words incorrectly.  My favorite words to say have "gh" in them :D

I found out that there is such a thing as a miracle berry :D
And not only does it look super delicious, but some molecule from the berry binds to the tongue' taste buds, which makes sour things taste sweet.  If that's not neat, I don't know what is.

There was a miracle berry tasting party around here a little while ago.  Kinda bummed I didn't realize it before it had gone past.

It's seriously called "Miraculin".

We're running out of things to make Captain America's shield out of, here.

<Endril> jdigital: elements get named by some chemistry committee, not by the guy who makes them.
<Potato> Fuck that, if I discover a new element, I'll feed it to that council.

I want to try one!  And then eat lemons!

The fruit might be hard to come by, but you can get tablets made from it that will do the same thing.

I am sorely tempted to order those, then try out some vinegar. Or baker's chocolate.

Apparently they don't work as well for everyone.  A few months ago, while channel surfing, I came across the Graham Norton show on BBC America where he had the guests try some powdered miracle fruit.  It worked for one of the guests, but not the other.

They said Guiness was supposed to taste something like chocolate milk with them.  It didn't and they gave it to someone in the audience.  Another audience member had some of the powder after volunteering to try straight vinegar,  "It tastes... like vinegar" he said as he took another sip.  Apparently it helped... but not enough to beat the vinegar.
