Solution: I threw it up on my server and edited the post.

One of these days I'll shove aside some time to implement a sort of faux-photobucket thing on there like I've wanted to for a while.

I love how Buge has the boards set to the same colour as the old Pyoko boards.

Apparently the Linear Algebra exam I've been sweating over the last week, I am not registered for! They kicked me out of the exam room! :perfect:

This is actually kind of good news, as I was expecting to fail, and this is somewhat less shameful (though just as inconvenient).

Frank Miller's art style draws heavily on the work of Alberto Breccia.

At least one Ukranian thinks drinking Coke in the morning is utterly disgusting and "inacceptable."

It's not that much worse than a cup of coffee, depending on how you take it.

And once again, it makes me want Coke to sell less sweetened coke--preferably with no fructose at all.  I mean, the main reason flat coke is disgusting is because the lack of acid in the water makes the drink a sugar sludge only humming birds could find palatable, and it's still too corrosive for them.  Meanwhile, over carbonated coke tastes better due to the sourness of the added acid, but is lacking in the other flavors.

...

Dammit, I'm gonna write Coke an email!

I learned that no matter how hard you try, you cannot make an NVideo 5500 play games whose minimum requirements require an NVidia 6200  :nyoro~n:

I also learned that I still have the power to make a woman feel uncomfortable enough to alter her standard patterns without much effort on my part. Last week when I started college again, I was seated in the back of the class next to a friendly, extroverted young lady. She introduced herself to me and everything. Over the course of that class, I had done little more than introduce myself back and ask her for some scratch paper. By the end of class she had her arms folded and was dead silent. This week she has moved to the front of the classroom.

Alright, maybe it is just a coincidence, but I like to think I still got my high school charm  :suave:

You said scratch paper. I realize its stupid, but I hate that phrase. I don't know why.

today i learned the difference between meth addicts and crack cocaine addicts, thanks to the nifty database of academic publications including phd dissertations/theses

apparently the difference is that meth addicts use meth in addition to alcohol and marijuana and essentially every other drug, and crack addicts only use crack.

yes, someone made a full thesis and got a phd out of this difference.

A benefit of our conquest by Britain is that Ireland has taken a full census every ten years beginning in 1821. The law allows census data to be published after 100 years, which currently includes the 1901 census and earlier.

Today I learned that the entire census records prior to 1901 have been lost. The census records of 1861 and after were pulped by the government during World War I, while the records prior to 1861 were destroyed in the 1922 Civil War when rebels picked the public records office as a base and the building was taken out with a bomb.
