My Boss' name is Gerald Ford and he's the president of the company.

What luck! If you get caught trespassing outside of office hours, he'll probably just pardon you.

There exists a white dwarf star with a compressed carbon core. It is, essentially, a planet-sized diamond. And it has been nicknamed 'Lucy.'

I should have known that Büge was a typical laser mummy name.

Apparently the little icon that appears on the bottom right of your post message is supposed to be a quick edit button.  It's also useless.

Unless I'm the only one seeing it.

It's funny.  I just learned now while watching that video that, including sesame street, everyone 7 ft tall, plushy and fun wanted to sell me something.

Good, a nice cool crisp root beer, servitude under mohammed (fafur), a chequings account, the monarchy (a commonwealth games whale in 94), or cultural diversity.

In 1990, Duke Nukem Forever's George Broussard wrote an Amiga action-RPG called Rings of Zon. It was terrible. You can actually run out of sword swings. This is irrelevant because health is so plentiful you just let the enemies walk into you.

From the readme file:

Thanks to Terry Nagy and Scott Miller for testing this game and for additional level design.

Miscellaneous things:
--------------------

- Full instructions are in the game.

- This game is shareware.  Two more volumes of this game are available, which wrap up the story and your quest.  All ordering information is in the game.  There are many incentives for ordering.

- I have several shareware games available for the IBM also.  I also have some new IBM EGA/VGA games coming out that have smooth scrolling screens and lots of animation.  These games will shock most IBM people who are not used to this type of game.  Write to me for a catalog of IBM or Amiga games.  The address can be found in the game.

- Enough of this, go enjoy the game!

p.s.  Look for more great Amiga games in the future!  I'm working on some truly commercial quality games that I am going to release as shareware.  Stay tuned for details...

Let's just pretend that somewhere on YouTube there's a clip of just 0:44 to 0:46 and that that's what I posted as a reply.

mIRC author Khaled Mardam-Bey wrote a screensaver app and a window resizing app for the Amiga. Bram Moolenar originally released VIM on Amiga.

George Broussard also wrote a Star Trek trivia game.

Ohh, I hate that.  I had to for a while as well.  Ergonomic keyboards actually do help with that, since you don't have to twist your wrists so much to type.

I've got a Microsoft Natural Ergo Keyboard 4000 and alternate between a Logitech Trackman Wheel at work and an Evoluent VerticalMouse at home (spendy but worth it; a lot better for gaming than the trackball, plus I find having two different mice means that even if I'm at a computer for 14 hours in a day, at least I'm not holding my wrist in the same position for all of it.  Also, while mine broke and the fourth button got stuck, they replaced it with very little trouble; good warranty and customer service).

If all else fails, you can tell people it's because you have too much sex.

I switched to a trackball after I got tired of my wrist being sore every so often at the end of the day. I've actually started to like the trackball better than the mouse.

Started to go to seminars now that I'm living in a capital city.

I learned today that present methods of checking whether certain pesticides are harmful or not to birds are currently bunk, and that using rats or humans as canaries of the safety of the chemical in agricultural land is of more merit.

I thought I'd let you all in on that.

I also learned that long winded pure-science presentations like that are not the best way to get closer to the ladies.  Looking as if you're about to fall asleep does that.

Milk is a fine way to get some extra calories down you're having a hard time with actual food.

Yes I realize this should be stupidly obvious given that it's the specific purpose of milk but we humans are so far removed from using the stuff for what it's actually meant to do that it's easy to forget.
