So I was talking to a girl I knew from high school today and this chick's name came up. My friend remarked that this chick wanted to date me. I was shocked and she continues "Yeah. Most of the girls did. She then proceeds to name off about 3/4s of my class (that's a lot) and said that they all said the same thing. "They'd totally would have dated you but you never spoke in class or asked them out." D:<  I never spoke in class because no one talked to me in most of my classes and I never asked anyone out because I didn't know there was a long list of girls who wanted to date me. >:(

See, this is where having a girl you know comes in handy. She could've gotten inside info for me.

I also learned that people talked about me behind my back the few times I actually missed class. And it was actually positive stuff. MY PARANOIA WAS RIGHT BUT FOR THE WRONG REASONS..

I'm not saying I am particularly PLEASED. But I do see some of these ladies out and about and what the hell? I'll lay on the charm and see if I get a confession.  Then maybe take them out for dinner or something.  Even though it's too bad I didn't know sooner, I know now. And I've learned a few things since then.

Why waste an opportunity?  Wost comes to worst I'll have dinner with some company.

I'm in no real hurry. If I happen upon a girl who is on that list and we hit it off again, I'll see if she wants dinner or something. If not, no big deal. It is nice to know that they might have a predisposition to wanting to go out sometime, though.

Honestly, as much as a bummer it is that I didn't know then, the fact there were a lot of girls talking about me and wanting to date me in high school is actually really nice. A nice confidence boost, to tell you the truth.

Yeah, I got the "a whole bunch of girls wanted to date you in high school but didn't tell you" thing too.  Go figure.

I wonder how many people wanted to date me/beat me up?

I learned that RottenTomatoes has no concept of what a western is. "A stranger comes to town" is one of the two most basic plots, guys. It's not exclusive to westerns.

The Illusionist was a great western. Almost as great as Dracula.

Also, every episode of Doctor Who ever.

Related story. I learned shortly after graduating that I had earned a reputation as a manwhore. Since I had slept with / sexed up / jollyrogered / boinked / banged / fucked literally no one in my school, this kind of threw me off. Apparently I was the only one who thought that having friends of the opposite sex was an okay thing. One girl I had hung out with a few times and then never dated decided to lie and say I slept with her then stopped talking to her to get back at me for... not sleeping with her or something. Anyway, apparently this trend continued, and come graduation half the female body of the school had claimed I was this gigantic slut and stopped talking to me.

I wouldn't kick her out of bed but that photo makes her belly look like a pupa trying to emerge.
