Bees suck. I go South and check out the details of the standard Half Life 2 puzzle. (er, teeter totter to be specific.)

Defenestration: You aren't heavy enough to activate the teeter-totter, whatever it does.

Through the E door you see a room with eight doll houses on a circular table, all arranged to face outward. There is an exit in the N wall of the dollhouse room.

Exits: N and E.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin, plastic armor (full plate), a rubber mallet.

I head through the east door and look inside the westernmost dollhouse.

Defenestration: The dollhouses are fairly nondescript. Detailed craftsmanship, and probably worth a bit of money, but you see nothing strange or interesting about them. Through the door to the N you see five stone gargoyles in a semi-circle in front of a door that is barred with a heavy iron bar.

Exits: N and W.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin, plastic armor (full plate), a rubber mallet.

I go north and knock on the door, and listen for something to happen afterwards. Afterwards, I see if I can move one of the gargoyles with enough effort.

Defenestration: You go N into the gargoyle room and knock on the door. There's no response. You try to lift a gargoyle and it doesn't budge. Inspecting the floor, you see that there is no seam between the base of the gargoyle and the floor. It's like they grew from the living rock of the floor.

The door leading north is barred with a heavy iron bar. It looks like you could lift it if you tried.

Exits: S.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin, plastic armor (full plate), a rubber mallet.

I back up. I go South, West, North, Northwest, Northwest, East, and East into the room of wavy mirrors past the giant chicken.

I threaten the chicken with my mallet and pole if it looks at me funny again.

Bhhhzzghuh... that was weird. Let's try that again, I go Southwest into the Octagonal Room, then South into the first Stripe Room. I break off a couple feet of my pole and sharpen the point of the long end on the way.

Defenestration: You enter the room of mirrors. It's some kind of mini maze! Some of the mirrors are moving slowly and others occasionally shift to a new position.

Exits: ?

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin, plastic armor (full plate), a rubber mallet.

--------

Yoji: You are standing where the tail starts and facing south, looking into the fractal rooms.

Exits: N and S.

Items: An 8-foot spear, a 2-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

A maze of mirrors? Goddammit, every game I play lately has a damn mirror maze.

If I wander around, will I maintain my general orientation of N/S/E/W? If so, I enter the first exit I come to that's not the one on the western wall where I came in.

If not, I back up, going West, West, West (I take the sandwich), West, West out the library after offering a Kazz a pose implying his crappy hammered helmet is not as awesome as my plastic plate, and throw the sandwitch into the mouth-door in the cemetary and waits to see what happens.

Defenestration: You aren't sure what direction you're facing inside the maze, so you turn around and head back W, but something must have shifted... you pop out in a different room. Two clowns wearing black and orange suits and weilding cricket bats are standing on either side of the door you just entered.

The first clown snatches you with supernatural speed and strength, pinning your arms behind your back. "Look, and see, brother Dee, a friend to play a game with thee!"

The other clown frowns at the first. "Cut out that rhyming crap, Kevin. Alright, buster, answer this question and we'll let you go. How many rooms have you been into so far?"

Exits: W, N and S.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin, plastic armor (full plate), a rubber mallet.

Yoji II: You enter the maze and go SW into the octagonal room. You go S into the tail room. You step S into the first fractal room and turn left, going E. Your vision again fades away, and this time you got the distinct impression of being melted or disintegrated.

You are dissassembled.

whrrrrrrr... click.

One of the more painless ways to die in my labyrinth, I'm told. I'm sure you appreciate that, at least. I don't blame you if you'd rather throw in the towel at this point.

I say, "Including this room, it makes 10."

Which door did I come out of in the clown room?

Yeah, you kinda get the warm fuzzies before the nothingness.

I don't blame you if you'd rather throw in the towel at this point.
Wha- no way, I'm just getting started.

I enter the labyrinth, go Southwest into the Octagonal Room, South again, South into the first Fractal Room, and South again towards certain glory and treasures!

Defenestration: The clowns mercilessly beat you to death with the cricket bats.

(you came out through the W exit to the room)

You are dead.

whrrrrrrr... click.

Those guys are dicks, but they do the job I made them to do. Maybe your counting was wrong?

--------

Yoji III: You go SW into the octagonal room, S into the tail's beginning, S into the first fractal room and then S into the next one. You seem to be intact. The illusion in this room has changed (or disappeared?). The gold tail has grown slightly wider, and there are (apparently) only two exits to this room.

Exits: N and S.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

...it worked? Huh.

I break off the end of my pole and sharpen the longer half again, and proceed South ready to stab anything that's waiting ahead of me.

I enter the maze. I go Southwest, West (I take the sandwich), West, West, and West again out the library after scoffing at Kazz's REAL helmet.

Yoji III: You walk south into the next room. It is fractal.

Exits: N, E, S and W.

Items: An 8-foot spear, a 2-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

--------

Defenestration II: You enter the labyrinth and head SW into the octagonal room. You go west into the room with the sandwich, though the sandwich is gone. You head W again into a room with three guns on a rack on the N wall. You head W again into a hunter's trophy room, then W again into a burned out library. The room to the S is an empty room with 2 exits; E and S. The room to the W is a graveyard.

Exits: E, W and S.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

Okay, let's go Sou- wait a minute. I have a piece of pole left... I throw that through the South exit.
