I get a sudden chill, like someone is talking behind my back. This place must be really getting to me.

Anyway, where would that key be...? Let's go Southwest into the Octagonal Room, and then East.

SoraCross II: The clown holding you leans in to whisper something into his brother's ear.

"What do you mean, two right answers?"

More whispering.

"Fine, fine. The question wasn't valid. You get a free pass."

They release you.

The room to the S has a red arrow painted on the floor that leads from your feet, into the room, to your right (W), and points at the W door in that room, which is ajar.

The room to the N contains shelving overflowing with dolls.

Exits: N, W and S.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

--------

Yoji IV: You enter the room with the giant chicken. Remember, you can enter multiple movement commands in one post. I will interpret them literally, so be careful.

Exits: E and W.

Items: A 10-foot pole.

SoraCross II: You re-enter the mirror maze. You find the two exits a little faster this time, and are actually getting good at it.

Exits: A and B.

SoraCross II: You reenter the room with the clowns. You're grabbed by Dee again.

"Hello sir, welcome to you. Answer a question please, won't you?"

Dee's brother slams his bat "Those are getting lamer and lamer. Alright, kid, where do ghosts take their purloined treasures?"

They wait patiently.

I rise as a corpse and begin to wander from room to room randomly, moving one room every 10 minutes, killing anyone I come across.

I flip my coin four times to decide which way to go.

If the mallet from earlier is still there, I try to scoot it out of pecking range with my pole.

If there's nothing there, I ignore the freakishly large chicken and exit East.

Yoji IV: The mallet is gone. You go E into the mirror maze. You become immediately disoriented. You eventually find two exits.

Exits: Y and Z.

Items: A 10-foot pole.

--------

sei: You flip your coin four times. Tails, heads, tails, heads.

You reexamine the doorways:

N: A stairwell. The boards are rickety and look a bit unsafe.
NE: The broken-off tail of a neck monster with leprosy breathing fire.
E: A five-foot tall chicken in a cage. The cage bars are spaced so that it can peck the floor without being able to escape. There is another door beyond the room with the chicken, and through that you can see wavy mirrors.
SE: A room full of mounted suits of armor. Studded leather, chain, full plate... it's all there. A D&D nerd's wet dream... no weapons though.
S: A golden stripe is painted on the floor of this nondescript room. It leads into the next room beyond, where it splits into four and heads in unknown directions.
SW: This room seems empty save three levers on the NW wall. The door opposite reveals a goat man, guarding something.
W: A single pedestal covered in bits of glass.
NW: A room with black, green, red and yellow tiles. Beyond it is a room full of charred bones.

Exits: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

sei: You head E into the room with the chicken in a cage. The chicken eyes you sardonically. It has enough room to peck around its cage, but can't actually reach you from where the cage rests unless you walk directly up to it. Through the door to the E you can see a funhouse mirror maze.

Exits: E and W.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

If I can, I walk around the cage, somehow attempting to coerce it into pecking the border around its cage weak enough that it falls down a floor, like something out of an old cartoon.  Or a bad action movie.

sei: The chicken only watches you, continuing to look derisive, at one point actually even snorting with contempt (maybe? you aren't sure chickens can even DO that). You realize there's little chance of it pecking through the who-knows-how-thick stone floor.

sei: You stand in the E doorway and examine the mirror maze more carefully. After a few minutes of study, you discern how the maze moves. It's a giant, slowly turning wheel with other, smaller wheels set within it, and the whole thing is covered in maze-parts made of mirrors, resulting in a very confusing, ever-changing maze. By standing at the entrance and not moving, one can easily traverse the entire maze without moving an inch, as the next exit will eventually come along, and you can then simply step off the rotating platform and into the other room.

The chicken continues to stare at you in a mocking manner.

Exits: E and W.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.
