Defenestration V: You are standing on a purple circle of tile. Stretched before you, between you and the NW exit to this room, are black, yellow, green and red tiles. A broken arrow lies on a yellow tile not far from your toes.

Exits: SE and NW.

Items: A 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

I touch all the tiles within reach and grab enough arrows that I can still hold them in one hand by the shaft.

Defenestration V: You are holding 24 finely-crafted and very thin arrows in your hand.

Exits: SE and NW.

I go Northwest, taking care to only step on black tiles.

Defenestration V: You are standing in a room with three exits; N, W and SE. The room has charred bones piling in from the north and west exits.

Through the north door you can see a shattered mirror amidst piles of bones. A warm light suffuses the room and dances against the walls, almost like water reflected off a pool on a sunny day. The light is coming from that room's W exit. The N exit of that room also contains bones.

Through the west door you can see a mirror which is centered in the room and facing north, and has two exits, N and W. Light dances across the mirror's face. The area behind the mirror is dark, allowing a person to easily pass behind it without being seen by anyone standing in the room with the strange dancing lights. The room further west of that room has a scattering of bones as well.

Exits: N, W and SE.

Items: 24 arrows, a 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

I throw a couple arrows in west. If it looks safe, I mosey on to the west room, taking care to stay behind the mirror as I look around and past the room.

Defenestration V: You go west into the room with the large mirror. As you pass behind the mirror, you notice a tiny peephole in the back of it. The next room to the W looks as featureless as the room you just left, except that there is just one other exit in that room: N.

Exits: N, E and W.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

I hold an arrow in front of the peep hole to see if the light from it would fry my eyeball. If nothing happens, I take a look.

Defenestration V: The sight through the peep-hole is strange and beautiful at once. Candles in the corners of the room to the N cast a bright light upon a field of daisies, and each daisy has a tiny concave mirror in its center. The daisies bob and weave their heads, playing the light across every surface within a range. They all face outward from the center of the room, and in the very center is a deep-looking, five-foot-diameter pit. Even the furthest daisy is within arm's reach of the pit.

The daisy room has four exits, and through three of the exits you see large mirrors similar to this one.

Exits: W, N and E.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

Defenestration V: You enter the room, traveling W, and look through the N exit. Another mirror, this one facing E into the daisy room. It appears the daisy room has four rooms surrounding it and four at the corners, and each midde-side room has a mirror to protect passers-by from the deadly light of the mirror daisies.

There is something gleaming on the floor of the room N past the N mirror-room. Several somethings, in fact.

Exits: N, E.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

Defenestration V: You go N into the room with the E facing mirror. The sparkling things are on the ground one room N of you, littered amongst the bones there. They appear to be jewelry... necklaces?

The exit E leads into the mirrordaisy room.

Exits: N, E and S.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

Defenestration V: Some of the skeletons of men in this room (there's many, many more skeletons in this room than all the others combined) are wearing necklaces that appear to be made of white gold. The pendants are a snake in an odd shape: They all look like this:

Exits: E and S.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, 1 gold coin.

I throw a pendant around my neck and go east.

Defenestration V: You go E into the next room. This room has a S facing mirror with a peephole, like the others. The room to the E looks just like the other two corner rooms, though with very few bones on the floor.

Exits: S, E and W.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, a snake pendant, 1 gold coin.

I see if I can move the mirror south, closer into the room, without knocking it over.

Defenestration V: The mirror is on a wooden stand, with a wooden backing. It has no handles, so the only way to lift it would be to put your hands on the edges and lift it straight up. Unfortunately, it is also very long, to prevent the wide-angle range of the mirrordaisies from striking the corners of the room, so your arms aren't long enough to get a good grip. You could get on one edge and push it a foot or so, but any further and you would be exposing yourself to the flowers' deadly rays.

The piles of bones in front of it make it apparent that the mirror will tip if you try to just shove it forward.

Exits: S, E and W.

Items: 22 arrows, a 10-foot pole, a snake pendant, 1 gold coin.

Time to back up!

I go West, South, South, East, East, Southeast, Southeast, West, West, West.

I take the gold gun off the wall and inspect it carefully, seeing how easy it would be to fix it.
