That there is the face of a man who knows he's doing just about the coolest thing anybody possibly can.

EDIT: I had not previous seen this quote of his:

"There are great ideas undiscovered, breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of truth's protective layers. There are places to go beyond belief."

When this song came on the radio:

Walking On The Moon - The Police.

(and the playlist for that station was preset this morning)

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

I always wanted to meet Micheal Clarke Duncan. He seemed like an extraordinarily cool dude, and the world is significantly less awesome without him.

...huh.  Didn't even hear Reverend Moon died a week and a half ago; discovered it from an unlikely source:

Alex Karras, Lions defensive tackle and actor who played Mongo in Blazing Saddles.

The most important thing in the article:

Quote
Recently, his wife said Karras’s quality of life deteriorated because of head injuries sustained during his playing career.

Head injuries in the NFL are a big goddamn deal.  The League is beginning to try and make the game safer and really crack down on headshots, but it's been dragged kicking and screaming to this position by lawsuits.  Lawsuits like the class action Karras was part of.
