I don't want to imagine what happens to a duck's foot if it gets caught in the feeder at the bottom.  With all those people crowding around the exit to prevent them from escaping those birdies are basically hopping for their lives.

When that thing started I was thinking "Wow, those games were so silly, I might have to give it a rental or something."

Then I watched the whole review.  Sort of satisfied that urge, really.

It's a clever idea and a good use of YouTube.  And I bet you there are now 50 groups on YouTube who just started making their own.  In 6 months there will probably be an article in Wired about the trend of YouTube games that aren't actually fun.

Hopefully it'll culminate in somebody recreating Dragon's Lair.

...now that you've said that I'm honestly shocked that they haven't knocked together a YouTube version of Dragon's Lair.  I'm sure whoever holds the copyright would be on board for the advertising revenue.

Probably because much like Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Department of Law, advertising revenue on YouTube is a mere fantasy.

I still think that a cowboy quick draw game on something like the Wii could be fun. It just needs to be an actual GAME and not a movie with lazily programmed ambushes in it. Quick time events are lame but I think that playing a sandbox game in a western town where you often have to enter into situations where someone might actually have a reason to pull a gun on you could make for a decent premise. If it was something where your actions and relationships with the characters and populous meant that you could actually judge when you might have to go for your gun or when you could maybe even just talk your way out of a situation I think it would be entertaining. Especially if you could just use your gun when ever you wanted, you'd just have to deal with the consequences for gunning down random people.

I liked this YouTube thing. It has been done before though; there was a thing where you had to find something in the video frame and click on it. It got pretty hard after a while. Most people cheated.
